my cars always looks like that. living in south dakota i'm always either ona twisty road or a dirt twisty road. the only bad thing is I've almost hit a cow a few times. they just stand in the middle of the road like it's no big deal, and they don't move when you tap them with your bumper.

Pearl, you're pretty brave. I used to have a Subie Outback wagon and do all kinds of crazy muddin' adventures with it. That said it had 70's series Michelin M+S tires, a pretty beefy suspension, and a reputation for being as strong as a Subie Brat in dirt and mud. With the Lancer, use some caution in your offroad hijinks. The base Lancer's chassis seems solid, but the suspension pieces look fragile. Some of the pieces are made from stamped parts and not from a forging or casting process - this means that they're made with enough strength to suffice for on road use. I'm not sure long term how they'll hold up to such use (or abuse) from offroading but I guess you'll be the first to let us know.

good to know
Dam it is refreshing to know their is other people on this foram that realizes that the lancers name was made in the birt of rally racing and not just lowered and on the asfhalt . this is why I have coil overs I have the best of both world .I can get about 2 above stock and 3 below grate for the week end fire road runing down to the river .
for getting it birty . next time go for the whole color change to dirt .

...maybe ill do it daytime nexttime!!
