Exclamation ALL AZ, UT, NM, members!

the new shop in Mesa's long wait is over. Their 2000HP 200+ mph AWD Mustang Dyno has been installed & is ready for use. i will be down there today along w/ 2 other evo's. the owner will be running his car (runs 11's) dialing it in. They have BBQ's every Friday. He will also be installing the tree so everyone can practice 1/4 mile times & launches on the DYNO!!!

VERY well worth it! My car was there at 12:30pm yesterday. With the following mods my car laid down a base run of 255.4 HP / 254.1 TQ. I thought this was a little low, even for a mustang dyno. But I was assured all calibrations were set correctly as the guys from Mustang Dyno were running the tests, they are still here since the dyno just got put in. I had to remind myself that this was at 19lbs of boost and with '91 octane. At this point I had to go to work but left my car there for some tuning.

At 4pm, got a call from Mynes saying my car was now making 276.0 HP / 264.9 TQ. They were saying this was the max they could do as they had reached the limits of the stock fuel pump. This was still 91 octance and 19lbs of boost. Man I was shocked! Just from tuning they were able to extract 20 more hp! I admit I had never really believed the whole tuning as absolutely vital when modding, but my skepticism has completely turned. Now I urge anyone to GO GET TUNED...

I got out of work around 7:30pm and went down there with some race gas. At this point I also purchased a fuel pump and installed it. I put in about 8 gal of 100 octane and decided to turn up the boost to 25lbs. After some adjusting we let it rip on the dyno. I laid down 320.4 HP / 334.0 TQ. Needless to say I'm extremely pleased with the results. Car drives and feels so much different, makes me want to run race gas all the time.

I urge everyone to go down there and check it out. I'm now a firm believer in tuning and wouldn't trust anyone else to tune my car. My reults speak for themself. Mynes Performance is the only shop I've taken to for mod installs and now tuning. Go check it out...

Antonio

What kind of tuning did they do? I put down 279 whp on 91 **** at 1.45 with my AVC-R. It was in July when I got it done. It was also a Mustang Dyno.

Well I've got Ecutek so he tuned through that for me. But from what I'm aware of he can tune anything, I think he had an AEM in his shopcar but is now running Motec. I know he also does Techtom tuning as well.

What shop did you go to?

Antonio, I warned you about that race gas. It is very habbit forming. Now let's go to the track and lay down a 12.5. (I'll drive)

yup, the owner was 1 of the 1st people to get the AEM unit & it fried his a/c computer! he does run MoTec now with track proven success.

i was also there last night. i put down 260hp/283tq with a pig rich AFR of 10.6. keep in mind i have the base dynoflash tune. the fuel pump & test pipe were installed AFTER my flash, so i need a retune of course. since the new shop can tune techtom i will not have to send the ecu in to Dynoflash. AL did a very good tune for me & i have no regrets. i highly recommend AL to anyone who does not live near a shop. the next goal is for me to beat you Antonio with the "old" technology...
