The car is back at Mynes for the week as Jay is finalizing the tuning. We figured out the no lift shift today and that is sick. Barely lose any boost between shifts. With the anti-lag launch and no lift shift, I am hoping for some good times. I don't have my pwr intercooler installed yet though so I don't know how much the stock intercooler is going to limit the tuning. I am off on Thursday and Friday this week so I will probably be at the shop both days watching the master at work and it may be ready for some track time Friday night.

Doug absolutely needs to go with the Mynes 2.4l. It is rediculously smooth and high revving, and I can't wait to see what it can do with 35lbs of boost.

I would love to run the topnotch, though I fear he may have the upper hand for the time being with his gutted and caged ride. I can probably only run once before I get kicked off so it would have to be a good one. I think that I may have the upper hand with the engine builder, engine, computer, and tuner, but I think he has a bigger turbo and a lighter car so it would be a good run. It may come down to driver, and I am not one to boast of my abilities until I can confirm them for myself.

I assume the shop is working on a similar kit for the WRX Sadly I don't forsee any trade-in's for me in the future but having that Mini there did help Lachelle understand that massive wheel gap (like my car has) isn't too cool. We were walking out to the parking lot on Sunday and she said "you know, you need to lower your car" She then asked "have you been waiting for me to say that?" Words could not describe the joy I felt when she understands things like this.

It is great to have a signicant other who, if not shares, then at least understands our addiction. I remember when I used to have a Q45 and my gf would borrow it she would come back and ask me to make her Integra feel like that. Now she loves the power of the Lex and definately doesn't discourage me from modding and tuning my cars as long as she can still go shopping. I wish some of my friends were as understanding. My buddy told me I should go get a crack habit 'cause it would be cheaper.

I feel ya bro.I think Ive spend over $250,000.00 in the last 5 years on rides and Go fast parts.If I had a crack habit,I would of never hit that #,Id be dead

I havent even driven mine yet.I pick it up on the 12th.Going to drive her easy for a week Then on the dyno in a week or 2,so I`d say some time early Febuary we can play. and I still have to get her painted.I had 1 painter flake on me already and living up in the hills ,Im having a hard time finding someone to do a pimp job,everyone is a production shop like Maaco So she`ll be fast but she wont be pretty...All go no show.

Hey bro check out the nhra site and check if the h2o 2 air intercooler is legal.
As I recall its not legal because of catch can issues.Then again bro dont tell em you have it.Speedworld you could use it for sure .They just walk around your car and sign the slip.Firebird on the other hand may be a problem.The techs there are as s ho les.
