thread started in west region it names a few shops

tuning tech and roadrace engineering are the 2 shops on socalevo that come the most highly praised and trusted for installs and afc tuning. harman motive for flashing has had some decent results. there are a lot of parts vendors around. the place in chino is called project gen. i dont know much about them but i do know some people have had problems with them and others like them. mostly they had problems with service due to it being a new shop and they dont have fulltime techs.

IF you have any respect for your car don't take it to Harman, he does more bad than good. The only shops worth going to in socal is Tuning Technologies or Road Race, they do top notch work and know what they are doing.

Care to justify that statement? It would be nice if you decide to bad mouth a shop to provide some experiences that you or your friends personally encountered - not heresay or popular opinion. It would be much appreciated.

Another vote for Road Race Engineering. They are OG with the 4G63T. They also have years of real-world, practical experience with Evos and DSMs. Mike, Ty, and the gang have forgotten more about these cars than many guys will ever know.
