I'm looking to take a driving course at the track and learn my car. Are there any links to events or courses such as this that you guys recommend?

The weekend of May 13-14th there is a Race Factory event at Willow Springs, in Button Willow. Its an hour or so drive north of LA. http://www.willowspringsraceway.com/home/home.asp
Actually its at their track called "streets of willow".

I'll be going out there to track my Evo for the first time with some freinds and their cars. Its a great track and very technical.

 

Look here for more info than you probably want. You have to register now, but they list every conceivable type of event with in a given radius from a specified zip code.

 

SRT Motorsports in Costa Mesa has their own track days at Willow Springs throughout the year and I know that there isn't alot of vehicles on the track when they have these track days. Check their website http://www.srtmotorsports.com/catalog/
