what is everyone getting for an interest rate through MMNA if you financed your car? I called my Credit Union today and the lowest i can get is 5.75%. Just trying to get a feel for the numbers. Credit Rating is good, over 700.

Angry

I'm a little concerned about long beach mitsu. I went a couple of days ago to look at the eco ix mr. I took a little test drive and everything seemed to be cool. I brought the car I wanted to trade in for the evo. Then a bunch of bull$hit in my book began to happen. First, I told them about the special pricing of 32,999 that was offered on the forum. The fleet manager allen was cool and he honored but, the person that was helping me out since Allen was busy wanted to charge me $39,999 Which I gave him the "Are you ****ing retarded?" look since, I clearly told him about the price earlier and I said that I was offered the 32,999 price which he agreed. Then, I got my car apraised by someone and they asked me how much I wanted for the car and I said 32-33k for it. Which they said they are willing to pay me for it. So, the nextday I send my credit application and got approved and he told me to come on over but, before I did that I wanted to get the price on a 60 month loan so I sent him a e-mail letting him know about this. This is my favorite part I get an e-mail saying that the owner wants to see my car again for another aprasial and I was like why? He said because my car had a soft resale value and they needed to look at it again. Which instantly got me saying what the ****? First, the salesman tries to pull this **** on me about the price, Then, now their telling me that they need to check the car again and won't be able to give me the money that they clearly said that they are willing to give me that amount for the car. What was the ****ing point of the apraisal that I got in the first place? Just to get me excited about the trade? PLEASE!
Don't ****ing say things if you're going to take your word for it!!!!

*Sigh, I'm a little dissapointed in the dealership. They even did the deal on paper. It shows the price they're to give me and the amount of money they're were going to give me for the car.

I'm not even going to bother to go back. To a dealership that can't keep there word.

This, unfortunately, is fairly typical. I had it happen as well when I bought my Evo (different dealer however). Went home to get my extra keys and the checkbook. Called from home to make sure everything was still a go and tell them when I would be back and I was reassured everything was fine. Drive all the way back over and they start the paperwork and the sales manager comes over and tells me they misunderstood me before and that I would actually need to pay another $3000. I walked out. They called me half way home and honored the original deal. You might laugh and say how could anyone fall for that BS but I have several friends who had the same thing happen and ended up coughing up more money.

Same thing happened to me, I called the sales manager to confirm the amount financed number for my credit union three times. When I showed up they acted like they booked my trade wrong and tried to get more money. "classic bait and switch"
