anyone tried out R-factor?
its a racing/driving sim that came out a few months ago, ive been playing for about a month now & im hooked! its quite the kickass driving sim....never thought id say this, but it even ranks up there with the gran-turismo series
although it comes with more than enough tracks/cars, the game is designed to be friendly to user add-on's..... want to drive an Evo on the big track @ willow springs? just download it!....... want to drift the nurburg ring in a S2k? download it
oh, there is also online racing

I'm not sure what to make of your comments, but I thought we were all just a bunch of car enthusiasts here. I guess some pass judgement on the choice of the car?
BTW, I've been modding the Evo for some time now and have pretty much done everything I wanted to do to it. Thus, I started working on something else. Sorry that I'm not rich and couldn't afford another 30K car to play with.
Alan, congrats on the 7.9 pass. That's pretty damn fast for a pump gas car, especially at the Q. It will be interesting to see what your car is really capable of when you get your 60' times lower. Perhaps a trip to a real 1/4 mile track is in order.

thanks man,
WYSIWYG for the most part. Suspension, Yoko tires, 18" Enkeis, custom headlights, grill, RS front bumper, tint, probably a few other things that I've forgotten. Mostly aesthetic. I haven't done anything to the engine yet as I'm planning/hoping on installing a gt28 turbo by winter or early next year... gotta save for that, all car mods are paid for in cash, so it goes a little slower than some. The handling on it is pretty impressive actually; I think I've suprised my fair share of porsches and bmws around the bends. It definitely needs more power though, its a dog accelerating out of the corners.
Here's how it was looking about 6 months ago:

I like the Front Bumper, very clean. I drove in one of the SVT's and was very quick, surprised at the trust to weight. Over all, a very clean machine.
Cash all the way my friend, why pay interest on parts, your doing it the right way. I need to come to one of these meets sometime. It's hard when your married, with a child on the way and she's not in to car's, but if there's one of those Kearny or Mission ones, I'll go.

Luckily, my lady has accepted the fact that this is a hobby of mine and that's just how it is. I can see how having/expecting a kid would make it pretty difficult to justify spending extra on the car though.

. I got work dammit! I had to work this weekend so I could install my meth next week.
