That's why you wrap up the Evo with painters tape .

Andrea and I just got back from the Charger game. Our tickets were sweet! Too bad the Chargers sucked (especially Rivers) in the second half and pissed the game away.

Today I ordered a Megan 02 housing with the Swain white lightening coating and an OEM Evo IX turbo manifold. I am going to have WOT port this manifold and then I am going to send it to Swain for coating. Tomorrow I am going to order the AMS 3" TBE and Walbro 255 pump. Next weekend Alain and I will install these items and retune the car. I cannot wait for Racelegal on October 12th!

im late, but you can also get those from most kragen, pep boys etc under the name "spark plug anti fouler" for about 5 bucks

they are typically used on old V8's to keep the oil from contaminating the spark plug

You can go that route, but you need to buy two of those and then drill a hole into the second fouler. There is a DYI on this forum. For $13 you can get the item I purchased which is one solid piece and already has the appropriate hole.

its been a while, & i havent read the FAQ, but as i remember if you drill out the hole to the same size as the end of the sensor when you screw it in the end sits flush right with the end of the "anti fouler" just as the crush washer compresses.
