Hmmm, I just used the "Buy It Now" option on eBay and sent him the money. I didn't pick it up, I had it shipped. It only took 1 day to ship!

Not hating, but you can expect the welds to fail sooner rather than later. People think they are saving money by buying Ebay radiators, intercoolers, etc. but the fact is the quality is crap and you end up paying more in the long run.

I love working on cars 8)....just finished a buddies car with an intake (HKS Reloaded), tire rotation, and an FMIC (EBay AMS Replica) which is a nice piece for the price BTW....here is a pic from the site...

For $109 you get a 3.5"x32"x12" 100% aluminum Bar/Plate style inter cooler rated for up to 500hp....
Thanks for staying tuned for the results!!!

This is why we all need a better FMIC , and for the $109 "EBay" intercooler the results are more than note worthy...

The lower reading plot is with the following mods on a IX tuned by me:

megan tbe/forge mbc/nisei licp/walbro FP

The higher plot is the same car with the addition of the following (its a bit notchy since it is untuned for the new intake so she was knocking a tad...more air flow means the need for more fuel...better gains will be attained with a tune thats already setup in a few days from now):

hks super mega flow/3.5" "EBay" Intercooler

Let me allow the graph to speak for me...

Thanks for posting that up, Alan

Ebay or not, the numbers speak for themselves, and I'm VERY happy with the results thus far.

I look forward to the tune in the very near future so my numbers can be even HIGHER

What's so funny?

Alan didn't post this up, so you all can critique my choice of mods. Take a look at the numbers I picked up, that was the whole intent of his post.

Those are some crazy gains!

Wait a minute...did you have the specs for an Evo IX selected for the first plot and the specs for an Evo VIII on the second plot? Just playing.

Alan, I might need to render your services for a tune soon. After sitting in Justin's (TekiZero) car a few weeks back, he mentioned how awesome you were. I've got tons of new parts on the car and I'm sure it would be beneficial. Just need to finish getting her back together and then you'll be getting a PM from me .
