Here is the Dyno plot:

There most have been a whole lot of improvement from tuning alone, because Aby told me his 65mm TB would make 4-5hp.

The car was fully re-tuned and the posted explained that in his write up....

But we are about to see the gains before/after here this weekend on another car....stay tuned...

I read that part Alain, and was simply stating the gains were primarily attributed to the tune itself. The 65mm TB did very little in terms of power gains.

You know that just might be it, because as I stated the first tuners tune plotted 340whp peak and when James did a base line pull on his dyno (WITHOUT his tune) it plotted 335.45whp / 297.56wtq. So after the install of the MIL.SPEC tb and REESE TUNE it plotted 364.10whp / 353.07wtq. I don’t claim to be any kind of tuner (far from it), just a fan of fantastically built fun car (for the money), but this tells me a number of things and the most glaring is….. THE TUNE BY THE FIRST TUNER IS IN QUESTION HERE! I do NOT doubt for a second that the combination of the MIL.SPEC tb and the Reese Tune (because they were the only additions) had something to do with the dramatic increase in the difference between the two plots.

Bottom line and the only one that matters is there is a customer that is finally satisfied with the service and in the business of customer service, I will return and put the word out of my very positive experience.

These are my thoughts...Aby, Alain and/or James may feel differently.

Because the gains were so large (obviously tuning is a part of that), it's my opinion that the TB was the largest restriction in this system. Especially since this car was running a Green. Aby's experience was with a TME, where he reported 5-8whp gains, and that turbo pumps a lot less air. Hence the very large gains.

It will be interesting to hear their thoughts on the subject.

My MY06 S2000 is an AP2. I sold the AP2 wheels within the first couple months of ownership and purchased some Volk LE28Ns (gunmetal with polished lip). When my S went on jack stands last May, I decided to sell the CE28Ns and bought some gloss black CE28Ns. Within a month I decided to sell them because my S2000 was destined to be a track-only car. In hindsight I should have kept them for car show purposes. I bought a set of AP1 wheels because they were dirt cheap and they would allow me to tow the vehicle around. I plan on getting some CCW or Weld wheels. Not sure what I will run up front but it it will be something like a 16x7 wheel with a 205 tire (something like a MT ET Street Radial, RA-1 or A048) and the rear will have something like a 16x10 so that I can run a 275 MT ET Street Radial for street driving and a 275 MT ET Drag Radial for the track.
