So now, we will do the installation of your choice of clutches... but you will have to sign-off on a waiver for the part and the installation. If your clutch fails or breaks 3 or 6 months down the road, you are responsible for the replacement clutch and we won't give any discount on the labor... if we have to install it again, then we will charge a full install - again.
cheers.

Fastcoevo,
If I said something that you disagree please let me know. I haven't dealt with Richard in 2 years and 3 months(June 04) and that was back when I owned the Subaru.
Ask around, he use to be the most expensive shop in Phoenix. I want to believe that he has become more competitive because the competition is greater.
I am posting base on my experience with the shops but off course things might had change since.

Mike, it's good to see you guys are installing things that you don't carry. When did Mynes decide to start installing items that weren't purchased there? Hell, I would have given Engineer a few dollars to put tires on but I fugured since I didn't order them from Mynes they didn't want the business.

I don't think you can wrong going to any of the places that everyone has mentioned.
I think they are all charging about the same labor rate per hour. DynoComp has become more competitive in price because there is more competition now. You need to go the one you feel comfortable with. Hell, go interview the shops you are considering. I think that Mynes has the "stamp of approval" in the EVO community.
After tinkering with the boost pill for about 15 minutes, Engineer came over and had it out in 15 seconds, so.........
I have a story and it goes like this------When I had my S2000, I had the supercharger with the aftercooler (air to water) and I shopped around to have a new clutch installed. DynoComp was by far the most expensive so I went to Basch Acura (known in the NSX community) for the install. Well, the tech crossed my air line with coolant line and I ran coolant through the motor. Needless to say, I made the car back to stock, sued Basch and that's how I ended up with the STi. Had I went with DynoComp, I know this would have never happened.
So the moral to above story is, don't be cheap when it comes to labor on your car.
