Interesting that the Clarksville mention disappeared right after I posted.

Im sure what you mean by "worst" natural disasters you mean the massive hurricanes that flood whole cities and destroy homes and lives....right? Or is the tornados that pick up and destroy homes. Maybe the rain and snow that knock out power for weeks at a time?

The only "natural disaster" we've had are earthquakes....and when was the last time we had a "disaster" from one? Fires are started by man 90% of the time.

When was the last time we had a real civil disturbance? Like '95-96?

Gangs are a "problem" in like <1% of the whole state.

The only reason cops seem so bad here is because no one posts threads about the cool **** they do. Or the 100 times the cops drive by people with loud exhausts. Only negative things get posted....dont be fooled.

I'll stick to my year round perfect Evo driving/motorcycle riding weather of 75-85 degrees and fine a$$ women....you can stay away....more space on the road for me....Thanks
I've lived in Southern California for all my 35 years, and EVERYTHING you say is true.

That sucks to live in cali. I drove through cali before and never got stopped in my evo. I have the tanabe ultra medalion that is loud as **** with an external wastegate that is not running back through the exhaust. My car is pretty loud when i mash on it. So can out of state people get tickets too????

First of all, it's nice to resurrect such a dead thread. Secondly, what are you trying to say here?

another jealous bastard of the land where property the size of a postage stamp costs as much as a acre of property with a 3,000 sq. foot house on it in any other state.
I'll take an earthquake every now & then rather than a hurricane every couple of months, sunshine every day, hot chicks in bikini's at the beach, oh yeah a beach and ocean. The list goes on and on

nevermind I see my point has already been made. As for the exhaust, I purchased an RMR cat back exhaust. It comes with paperwork guaranteed to meet the 95db rating for the dot. It does it under idle and under full throttle. I have not yet had to use the paperwork yet

I think you guys just need to move to San Diego and see why we love California. I love the year round summer weather. I love the beach being MINUTES away from my house and work. Yeah, we have CARB, expensive housing, but when is the last time you heard of an earthquake actually causing damage over on the west coast?

What I wish I could do was sell my house at California prices. I could retire with the profit I would make. As far as the year round summer weather I did that when I was stationed in Hawaii. I also was born and raised in Florida so I am quite familiar with having the beach right down the street. Earthquakes are not a big deal in California, but brush fires are a bummer.
