The gt40 goes on thurs-friday... anyone suggest a "quiet place" to try her out this weekend with the holiday and all?!

Figure avo intercooler, turbo upgrade, manifold, intake and exhaust should make short work of the clutch but I am trying to be gentle and stay on the curves!

 

Angeles Crest is pretty nice. If you're planning on going there, give me a heads up. I'd love to tag along (if I can keep up that is).

 

how about sunday morning... I am thinking of hit on saturday at the convention center and want to spend some time on the dyno sat morning to make sure everything is okay...

8am?!!? are you hitting the crack pipe that early??? I always run at night, usually after 11pm, intercooler stays nice and cool and the car don't go ping ping.

Angeles Crest is good, MT Wilson is the shiznitt. Little Tujunga is good too... it's actually my commute home. I love it.

8 am is actually not that early...that is if you are willing to in order to avoid the traffic that comes up here every Sunday morning. I start hearing the motors roar up around then...

I dropped the car off for the garrett upgrade tonight. If they get it done right I will be up for a run.

I will post saturday afternoon to confirm after I see how the car is... Don't want to get stuck on the mountain!

 

Watch out on the Angeles Crest run. It was a while ago, but I got a speeding ticket going down hill, out of the mountain. And I was driving a Ford Festiva. I wonder what an Evo will do now.

 

If the crest will be too crazy on a holiday weekend... any better suggestions besides stunt for an am run? I just want go...
