I can't really tell what has been done yet. The previous owner did a lot of mods. Im gonna get the oil changed today. The check engine light came on this morning and hasn't turned off.

 

I'm actually looking for stock.. gsr or id pay extra for them bbs lol but mainly stock wheels.. wanna keep that stock clean look.. if you got a list of parts id gladly take a look lol I'm pretty much all over with building this car so if I see something id proably take it.. but mostly I need stock wheels and headlights w/o hid...

 

Let me know. I have a compression tester and a leak tester if u need help. The best thing is to study your car completely. Hosed, fuel lines, etc. even the computer. Had a buddy that bought an aem ems, don't know why but needless to say when I checked his car he had an apex computer already installed

Nice! Congrats!!! You gave in and bought the 8 instead of the x. I take it the dealer took your car for trade in. I wouldn't worry too much about getting the car the way you want it. Sounds like you've got a lot of people that'll be able to help you out.

 

I sure know that his car was tuned before, he has the the program for his check engine light to flash for knock and it is flashing without being in full boost or even in high rpm. Fallen have you turned down the boost yet? Keep it at 19-21 first until you get a tune when i saw your boost gauge spike up to almost 30 i had to stop. All the wires for the amp take that out you dont need it. By the way i dont have a boost leak tester i left it at vegas. In sorry i couldnt help you that much im so busy right now.

 

I actually kept the lancer and bought the Evo.
I want to make sure the Evo is running at its best before I sell the lancer. Well actually gonna trade in the lancer for a Wrx as a gift for my little brother.

 

I need a new bov if anyone can help me. Aftermarket or stock. Don't matter. Mines is crewed up. Leaf racing also said I might have a boost leak an that could be the reason for my misfire.
Does anyone have a boost leak tester?

When i first got my IX I had a few boost leaks. I was also getting a misfire code. I replaced all the lines and my check engine light hasn't been on ever since.

 

put it on the books hopefully I can make it.
