all f*ck this tuning sh*t is gettin on my nerves. i want the most power availiable out of my car. SAFC may not be the best choice for our cars but it has proven itself on the track. in their defense, flashes have also been proven on the track. my thing is i REFUSE TO PAY FOR A ROAD TUNE. i dont see the point and i cant see the proof of power made. f*ck that butt-dyno sh*t.

Al, i flamed u before. and honestly im not taking that sh*t back. u were a dick to corey before and only now starting to offer to fix his problem. thats only after dave talked to u and a almost a whole city went against u. i always believed flashes were good, i just hated the and still resent the whole concept of a "road tune and mail-in flashes." to pay money and get new proof of good results at that set day and time.... I CALL BULLSH*T.

but enough wit my rant. i do want the most and best power for my evo. the SAFC wasnt my first choice. but seeming "the kid" lil alex do 12.5 wit a SAFC and basically the same mods as me made me buy one. seemed reasonable buy and still does. a flash from a man that lives across the US, doesnt seem as reasonable. especially since i cant get u to reflash my car for every new part i get. sorry i dont trust mail-in flashes. the las vegas enviroment to to harsh to trust a tune by mail.

simple as this, since im just rambling right now. im down for a flash from u. but only if its on a dyno and only if i drive the car while its on the dyno. ill take all responsibility if i f*ck something up. cuz i heard how u treat people car, if u do that sh*t to mine i will kick the sh*t out of u. the car cost to much for a man to jump in and f*ck my sh*t up when im paying him. i heard about u grindin our vegas boys gears when u road tuned them in cali.

so sign me up for a dynoflash on a dyno

I thought that was you posting it's been awhile. I just got a IX over the weekend and I love it besides the fact that it has a stock clutch. My 03 was sold to a guy on the forums and it was running strong with 50k miles on it.

Man thats some funny stuff bro!

As for road tunes vs. dyno tunes the whole issue was and has been that most dynos LOAD the car differently

When I went out to start doing custom tuning trips on other shops dynos I qucikly discovered that many dynos LOAD the car differently and when you are tuning on some of these dynos the Loading is not accurate to the street.

The issue was that often it takes time to become familar with how one dyno loads compared to the street and learn how to compensate with boost and a/f so that when you leave the dyno the car will be tuned accurately on the street.

Additionally the other issue is that when you are tuning for knock threshold - (which is how I tune on 91 octane) it is critical to have a very accurate load

If you are interested in reading more on the subject regarding how to properly tune a car on a dyno - I highly recoemnd this article - http://dinancars.com/whitepapersFile.asp?ID=9

With this said- I have found the Mustang dyno with the Buschur settings to be very accuarte and I have a lot of experience tuning on them. Now that there is a Mustang dyno in Vegas - it makes the dyno option viable.

In many areas they have only dyno pak, land and sea, dyno jet and others which are just total nighmares to tune on for a whole host of reasons.

With the Mustang I can get a realy good tune right off the dyno

Of course - I still maintain that street tuning is the best method of tuning - BUT for

Those who would like a dyno tuned flash when I come to Vegas will have that option and I would prefer it if the customers would drive their own cars or if the dyno shop does it as it frees up my hands for working my data logger.

As for your comments about me grinding someone's gears - i want you to know that I take great care when driving and working on customer's cars. I drive them so I can feel how they are running to see if its tuned properly

Here at my own home shop - I test drive every car after it leaves the dyno to make sure the tune is proper

I have yet to crash, break or damage any car in my care

IF I grinded a gear it was prob becuase the customers syncros were worn out which is quite common as you must know issues a TSB on replacing them

In any event - anyone who does not want me to drive their car - its no problem we can skip that part of the procedure

Finally as to yourt comment

u were a dick to corey before and only now starting to offer to fix his problem. thats only after dave talked to u and a almost a whole city went against u.
This is not really the case. I have been in contact with Corey for the past several weeks back and forth in PM and telpehone tag and I was planning to come there to retune his car in any event

I dont remember being a "dick" to corey - hes a great guy. Here are the comments he and the other vegas guys made after the tuning session in LA -

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&page=19&pp=15

If they had any problems with my services at the time - they ceratinly did not address them with me

After David spoke with me about the situation of course is when I decided to post about my trip out there on the forums and bring it to your attention

Group rides are stupid. I'd rather waste precious fuel at the track.
