hey gonzo check this out https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...hreadid=168148
Just got back from SEMA.
Wanted to say thanks for the hospitality at the EVO meet that you guys showed to all of us that came out from Buschur Racing.
We had a great time. You guys are very lucky to have such a large number of EVO's and great guys out there. I am very jealous, it would take the entire state of Ohio to get that many EVO's together on a Thursday night!
I have a good friend out there that is bought a new MD AWD Dyno at the SEMA show, hopes to have a new shop open in the next 2 months. Good guy, I have known him for years and has been racing DSM's since about 1993.
Also was good meeting the guys at the Horsepower House. Nice shop. So you guys know, his dyno is calibrated like mine. This means his HP is about as low as you are going to see on any AWD Dyno. I looked at his calibrations and they are the same as ours. I was very surprised as most guys cheat and change their settings to make larger numbers.
Seth's car, black car from Utah, came out good. He is running the Time Attack event this week and I am hoping he does really well. The car has our 2.25 liter stroker in it, Stage 3 head, HKS 280 cams and our Stage 4. I tuned the car quickly on the street when I got there on 91 octane. The first pull we did was the 91 octane map and the car had 19-20 psi of boost and made 357 whp (that's what I remember). The boost controller did not work that was on his car (Hallman) so we borrowed one from one of the guys at the shop. I was not there to make a big power number. The car was tuned on C16 after the first pump gas pull. All I cared about was tuning it to run smoothly and do well at the time attack. My goal was 450 whp at 25 psi and a mild tune so they have no problems. Seth kept commenting about seeing 500 whp. I finally gave in and turned up the boost for a few pulls. The car made 494 whp at 30 psi, he said that was close enough so I went back to the job I was trying to do
I found something I missed and at 25-26 psi the last run the car made a rather amazing 497 whp. The other pulls were between 450 and 472 at 25 psi.
The car was very fast on the street, we went out for some additional tuning after the dyno. Very smooth, very fast.
Good luck to those guys.
It was nice to see so many of our parts out there. We would be interested in doing a group buy with you guys on some things if you guys are up for it. For as hot as it is out there I was suprised how many stock intercoolers there were.
Also found out that there isn't a "love" for flashes there. The flash is superior to the AFC, it's rather sad that the results there have been less than stellar and now there is some bad feelings. I am wondering if I start flashing if you guys would be interested in me flying back out for a few days and doing some tuning? I am considering this pretty seriously.
Thanks again, we had a great time!!

It was nice to finally meet you and jarrod in person. I personally went with the dynoflash becasue that it was you recommended and al has shown very good results in many cars. I hope to get it all fixed using the flash and im sure the guys would love a group buy and for you to tune us. I would like to prove that the flash does work well and show some good results. Keep us updated.
I hope to have the Mustang AWD dyno setup and running in January. Its to be built in mid to late December. Will fill NOS and have atleast VP brand but most likely also Rocket brand race fuels in unleaded and leaded versions in stock. Am currently a Turbonetics distributor and will sell anything they have at competitive prices. But am not really interested in competing with the net. Not looking to have a shift pedals and colored lights shop. Mainly a dyno center, mostly by appointment. And will surely accomodate car clubs for a full day of dyno runs. Also plan to have the bike attachment. Possibly a lift for EVO installations.
Will tune AEM ECU's. Reflashing is something I will get into soon enough. So much better than an AFC. Although its hard to convert some people.
Will post up solid details once everything comes together and is worked out. Have owned more than 10 DSM's. Dating back to 1991. Three of them I got brand new. Currently have an RS and MR EVO. 90 AWD drag car and a Conquest with a 4G63 that will be on the street soon.
I don't want to ignore the domestic market for dyno time and tuning. Will have competitive rates.
