it sounds to me like Marc's car is either bogging or either shifting very slow to run 92 mph in the 1/8th, heck my RS runs faster in the 8th that. Once he gets the launching down, he won't run 40mph in the back end... it will be back around 30. Just for reference, I gain about 33mph in the back end on my 8... even the AMS shop car 34mph, shep around 40mph. Your 1/4 trap speed will tell the most on what kind of power its making, not so much on what you gain on the back half.

ps. I will run any of your cars. just to show what good parts do on a stock motor
no roll BS though, any car can make power at a roll, driving out of the hole to 130-140 is a race

This comparsion you speak of is like comparing Dans highly built probably mid 8 sec car to your "built" evo that barely runs 10's is garbage, the funny thing is I dont even know how he came into this. I didnt mention him at all.

when did it run 10.5's? I have seen 10.8-10.9 @ mid to high 130's.
i'll run you any time you want.........your 505 on 36psi against my 566 on 31psi

He bogs out and shifts very slow, its 140mph car with a good driver.

thats a good one.
funny thing is like I said, I will run any of your cars, I am still here. I am not talking from the east coast. my car is daily driven and I have no problem running your "built" cars any time

marc like I said I am just talkin about the builds, not you or your driving, Trevtec already did that.

I am just saying what everyone else here has wanted to say for the last 2 years since I moved here.

I know it take alot to run 9s, I also know how much power it takes to run 9s and they both have enough.

James motor lasted 2 years, 25,000 miles at 35+ psi. The entire block was built and machined for under $1000. Made close to 700whp on a Dynojet. You wont see many low budget builds go that long and if he would have listen to my advise, he wouldnt have done what he did and let me take it apart and go to better parts.

Marcs car runs fine, lifts the head a little under high boost. Needs a good set of head bolts and a better head gasket. Take me 3 hours to fix. Still runs fine and makes 500whp at 24 psi and runs good at that boost.

Archies car runs fine, made the same power your car made at 31 psi, when Archie was only doing 27 psi. Checked on Dougs computer, so what now.

we all know that e85 is capable of making some serious power. so you cant compare 109 to e85 and say mine is a better fuel.
plus dont forget my turbo is about 65% the size of both marcs and james.and I am on a stock block with just cams and springs. no port work intake manifold etc.

Archies car is not fine. as of yesterday after I talked with him, it didnt sound good.
who was driving it around after the dyno on Friday night? you or him?

why does Marc's car need head studs now? you didnt put a good set in when you built the motor? anyone building a 600+ motor should do that first thing

ps I made 485 on dougs 2 weeks ago at 31 spike to 30 across the board to 7500
so the 34-35 psi is maxing out that small turbo. I dont need to go that high,
just wanted my dyno coc to look big.

time to go to work. have a good day all

Of course they wanna say it, its called envy and it what you have. Lets say Marcs car was on a Dynojet, he'd be around 650whp. Who has a 650whp Pump Gas EVO? And if there is one would they have spent $15,000 to have a shop build it? An AMS Long block cost over $10,000 alone. Marc build would have been a 35-40K build at a big shop like AMS or Buschur and you know this. Im not in this to be rich, I do it because I like it. Im not getting paid when you see me tuning Marcs car, if I build the car I will tune it for free as many times as you want. This is why people like you are hating, because you went with the majority and now your not the big dog. The two most powerful EVOs that have ever been on Dougs Dyno have been built and tuned by me. And I dont have someone welding, one guy building motors, another guy tuning, some guy doing sales, another guy cleaning the bathroom, some guy that just does Trannies and installs. I do it ALL here, Im a one man show and thats why I can build a car for the prices I do.

and BTW, when Doug is tuning he tweaks the numbers so you should visit another dyno before talking ****. You 480 was really 422, because when we compared Archies to yours it scaled it to Archies calibration and at 31 psi you made 422, and thats When Archie was also making about the same at 27 psi. I meen your probably 440-450 without the Doug Tech clicky clicky recal.

The 500 hp Run was probably also in 4th gear wasnt it, which reads about 3-4% higher also.

Paul is a good guy, i don't know why you have your panties in a bunch. I will tell you he has a lot less into his car then most people do and still are running 12's. Also, where do you get that a long block costing 10k? Sure without a core maybe I can see it being that much, but you are comparing building a junk yard motor, throwing pistons and rods, doing your own machining... not quite the same as what it would cost to have a build without a core.

Well put it this way, we made 533 at Dougs the day before Hot Import Nights, no changes it made 577 on that Dynojet. Hes done it to me while I was tuning and he saw I was a little frustrated and it wasnt making the power then all the sudden I gained 50whp, and Doug goes, "WOw Man, what did you do" I looked at him and was like "Nothing dick head, quit ****ing with the numbers".
