Well put it this way, we made 533 at Dougs the day before Hot Import Nights, no changes it made 577 on that Dynojet. Hes done it to me while I was tuning and he saw I was a little frustrated and it wasnt making the power then all the sudden I gained 50whp, and Doug goes, "WOw Man, what did you do" I looked at him and was like "Nothing dick head, quit ****ing with the numbers".
Paul is a good guy, i don't know why you have your panties in a bunch. I will tell you he has a lot less into his car then most people do and still are running 12's. Also, where do you get that a long block costing 10k? Sure without a core maybe I can see it being that much, but you are comparing building a junk yard motor, throwing pistons and rods, doing your own machining... not quite the same as what it would cost to have a build without a core.
And Ive seen an invoice from AMS, its cost at least $10,000. Its about $8000 in parts and $2000 labor if you buy there basic ****. They have one stroker thats $8000 by itself.
And I understand that you believe Paul is a good guy, but you can ask anyone I know if I have some **** to say I dont wait till you leave, unless its a booger in your nose or something. I like arguments, its funny to me but when I left the dyno the other night Paul went from laughing and bull****ting with me to talking up a 5th grade trash storm. I already told Doug, if you dont like me, dont ****ing talking to me. There is nothing I cant stand more than a two faced *****.
I had a guy come by that had a build block installed by RoadRace, it was a 2G Talon. They did a built 6 bolt block, still had a stock 2G head and the T25 on it. He wipped out a $9700 invoice for the block and installation. I about **** my pants. And I know Roadrace is cheaper than AMS.
and BTW, when Doug is tuning he tweaks the numbers so you should visit another dyno before talking ****. You 480 was really 422, because when we compared Archies to yours it scaled it to Archies calibration and at 31 psi you made 422, and thats When Archie was also making about the same at 27 psi. I meen your probably 440-450 without the Doug Tech clicky clicky recal.

Funny I think when I got tuned the first time at doug's I think he did a clicky clicky but - hp instead of the + you are talking about. The guy is awesome don't get me wrong but I just not making another trip that way.

It cost that much, and I dont use Junkyard cores, You cant go to a junk yard and buy an EVO engine. Not for cheap anyways.
