Got my AEM tuned today. Just got back from Factor-x. Mike is a great guy. We ran out of time to install the GM boost control solenoid so I am only running 10psi till he returns from a trip to Hawaii. But thats cool. It gives me time to drive it and see how the tune is.
Right now though it drives better than stock. The afrs are like 10.8-11.2 and it is so much more linear, of course that could be the low boost.

Yeah, he was telling me about that car and some of the other major companies and key players in the industry that he either knows personally or has dealt with.
He might not be a strictly Evo tuner, but he knows what he is doing and it totally made me feel comfortable about letting him tune the car. Just watching him work the key strokes and adjust the tune as I drove was amazing. We would do a pull and I could feel the bad spots and a few adjustments from Mike, another pull, the difference was noticable every time.
After driving it for like 30 miles I have found a few odd spots here and there. But we only tuned for like 1.5 hours. I did all the wiring in his shop, the splicing and crimping ect. Mike did all the tuning which really is the hard part, easy for him though.
As a side note for you guys with the SAFC....he said he can tune those all day long it may be an option rather than driving to Cali every time. I know TT is great for the tunes they have provided but thats a long drive when there may be someone local. More options on the table.......
