Las Vegas Evo's

He might not be a strictly Evo tuner, but he knows what he is doing and it totally made me feel comfortable about letting him tune the car. Just watching him work the key strokes and adjust the tune as I drove was amazing. We would do a pull and I could feel the bad spots and a few adjustments from Mike, another pull, the difference was noticable every time.
After driving it for like 30 miles I have found a few odd spots here and there. But we only tuned for like 1.5 hours. I did all the wiring in his shop, the splicing and crimping ect. Mike did all the tuning which really is the hard part, easy for him though.
As a side note for you guys with the SAFC....he said he can tune those all day long it may be an option rather than driving to Cali every time. I know TT is great for the tunes they have provided but thats a long drive when there may be someone local. More options on the table.......

Our cars stock run super rich and really have no way of creating knock because of this. All 100 oct does is provide a more stable fuel that prevents your car from knocking. If your car doenst knock from 91 oct why would 100ct that makes it even more difficult to burn the fuel make any difference. Unless he raises boost or adjusts timing etc.. 100 oct is useless for him. The whole reason to use 100oct is to prevent knock, which he doenst have right now anyway.
This has been talked about numorious times on this forum. Almost everyone including Warrtalon will tell you the same thing.

I don't know who else is going to make it. I'll have to check the "other" forums.

Hey smurfette, I have no idea about tires, I will be runing 17x8 +32 245/45/17 with falken rt-615's. I talked to A-spec, and he said this set up would work well with my car, daily driver....track
