Maybe if I didnt have such a ****ty tank of gas it would have worked out a little better but all in all im very happy. ....

Question for you ... was my car the only one you had a problem with pulling the timing like that? or is all the vegas gas that ****ty? also if I get alc. would that be able to fix the ****ty gas?

Al seems to like the Shell that I had. Shell is all I get since it's 1 minute from my house.

 

What where your numbers ?

Thats want im going to fill up with today ... I'm also going to see if Al can take a 2nd look at my car tomorrow night with a full tank of new gas.

 

I was thinking that as well if I had a chance to get a intake, but to late for that since I don't think Al takes intakes with him.

I think my numbers were 288/283. I have to check with Doug again.

 

Was that corrected or uncorrected? as what boost?

 

Hey Al thanks for the info on the AccessPort. I'm gonna go with that for sure.

 

288/283 not sure if that is corrected or not but I'm guessing it is. boost was 20.5 falling to 16.5

 

All runs are on my computer. Most likely the numbers you mention are the corrected. For as hot as it was out, thats pretty good. Just remember its not about numbers, its about the total HP and Torque curve. Thats what makes you car faster and smoother. Want a broad range of power, not a peak at some high RPM point.

 

Your car was one of the worse I have seen to date on the IX's

I am sure that the particular tank of gas you had was somehow bad

The addition of the 100octane with no tuning or boost changes proved the dramaticly poor quality of your tank of gas
