Anyways, I think I'm going to talk to a lawyer tomorrow about this whole thing, and try to make the dealership buy back the car, because as it stands right now, I'm scared to drive it, due to it smelling like somethings burning, about 50% of the time when starting the car up. And the dealership doing nothing about it and saying there is nothing wrong with it.

I had 4 people with me that saw the flames and it burning, but they still want to say that there was no fire damage and no proof of fire or the rag causing a fire is what amazes me.

Dan, you are young but not naive.
A family lawyer might be able to help, but it's a sticky situation you are in. (After crashing the car and all).

Well, afterall since they worked on the car in that area 2 days earlier, and only have driven 30 miles since them working on it, I think its obvious who left the rag there, and that they make it right, or be responsible for the car, and since they arent making it right, I think that the lawyer is my next best choice.

Hey have any of you seen a turbocharged copper 350Z around town? (Only twin turbo 350Z I have heard of in Vegas).
Curious because I missed the photo op, the car was completed before I got to the shop.

Yea man, there is some burden of proof right there, leaving rags in the engine bay.

i think everyone knows what happen, and the reason why it took so long.if they don't then here it is for everyone so you stop bashing my fellow evo brothers.

here it is.03 TC's suck.after taking it to LDL,we open the case up.from what dennis saw,and what i saw were the same thing.the gears were not tight enough in the case, causing the gears to pinion gear, and ring gear to wear out.i think anyone with an 03/04 evo better watch out for this problem, after installing an better clutch.since the ACT i have in my evo can handle a lot power over the stock ones.instead of the clutch going, the next place it could go was the TC.the transfer case in a weak point in are cars.of course any car(not just evos) making 300+ whp, theres going to break anyways.it comes with the modding.theres other evo owners on here that had the same problem like me.so i don't feel like it's a "only this happens to me" type of thing.

as for why it took so long,TRE was the main reason.it didn't help that we shipped it out during the holiday season also.

so,the car is back, and i'm loving it,even as i'm just breaking in the new tc.this tc should not go out.i had tre upgrade the gears with forged steel, and it has an LSD in the front now.

i still would love to go to LDL,and have it be my shop i can turn to we in need of help.dennis is a great guy.i have some more for dennis to work on as soon as i get my new parts in soon

hope this stops the bashing on this thread .it doesn't get much clearer than that.if an las vegas evo owner has a problem with you or LDL,have them talk to me for the truth.i still will tell people to go to LDL,cause i'm happy with how they handled this

rowdy-i know what LDL means to you,but i can't have ya on here talking **** either, and pissing people off.i enjoy talking to you,and love your input/pics.but i'm gonna draw line on your last couple of post, cause it's seems like your the one who keeps bring it up.it's over,i'm happy, and thats it.i want no beef/heat/fighting between you,and my evo friends.if it dosen't stop now it will never stop.i think thats only fair for everyone
