My very first post was asking if anyone had been getting phone calls from dealerships...Like i have said, they have called 2 or 3 times now trying to get me to come in and talk with them. I'm not interested in doing it (the car is only half in my name)
And yes, that is exactly what we thought, it was just to get us in there and the hook would be we have to buy an X..Of course I wouldn't know the catch or if there is one because I have never gone in, and don't care too. The IX is mine for a very long time.
Highly unlikely you can buy a new X for $34,000 (w/o tax or anyting) In las vegas. Hell I saw them going for $38,000. Southcoast is different. They don't do mark up, they sell by invoice to attract buyers. Quite the scam they have going there...

ok .. i have a big spoiler for you... United mitsubishi HAS NO EVO X'S. They sold the last of their three a couple weeks ago and as of 5pm monday the 17th they have not gotten anymore in... I asked about this and they told me they were expecting more in next week. They also only have one IX on the lot for sale. that's why they want to pick up more. The idea behind this is the put 34K sticker on a USED 06 IX and get you to look at their new 08 evo x for 37k which... TADA looks like a great deal. It's all about perception, if people "think" they are getting a good deal, they "must" be getting a good deal.
i just rememberd you said 36k for your the IX.. well even better for them... they put 36k on the 9 and 40k on the X... still looks like a good deal to a retard.... or that guy in the honda civic that keeps staring at my X :P

Well I had bought my IX with 1,000 miles on it for $25,500 with a trade in. The car was orignally $35,XXX or w/e. If they only gave me $25,XXX or less, that would be like taking my trade in car, and then giving me less than what I had to pay for to purchase the evo. So they have to compensate for the trade in. I never went in person to talk about it, I was never interested, I just thought it was odd they were wanting to do buy backs and were offering such great deals. I think perhapds it was just a scheme to get me into a new X and get more money out of my pocket, since they are running what $40,000+?
It makes perfect sense, buy back a used IX for $34,000 sell it for 36,000+, give me insentives to buy a X. The more X's people like us see on the road, the "more" we grow and like them. It booms like VIII' IX's did and boom they are making money.

I want to try and leave pilot by 9 depending on how many people are there. It takes about an hour to get where we're going and I figure getting there early afternoon gives us time to set-up.
Hopefully it'll be a nice day so plan on maybe bringing some sun block or maybe a pop-up tent if you got one. Definately wanna bring a chair or some sort.
