Courtesy seems to have wised up a bit. I was just over there saturday looking at some Xs and they no longer have the BS markups. There was a red base GSR for $33,XXX. Still not Southcoast or Victorville prices, but certainly not scam artists in the works United prices …

Yeah, her hubby Craig is a cool cat too. I met him a few years back when I was starting out doing the track stuff. He was running a silver S2K on R-comps back then, which may actually be the car Jeanine's running now. I always liked getting his input. My first track event (running the original 2.2 configuration), he was watching and hand-clocking my laps. I was in the beginner group with no clue of my times, but he thought I was rolling pretty good. He came up and noticed I was stock down to the Bridgestones and said I was driving well out there!

I've seen him and Jeanine with so many different cars out there. I remember Jeanine had a red, stock-tired C5 Z06 that she clicked off a 1:52 on the 2.2 config! Fast!!! A while back I was thinking about picking up an Elise and Craig was out there in one. I chatted with him and he gave me his honest opinion. He said to save my money and that a suspensioned, r-comped s2k is faster and more fun …

Those two are certainly good people.

I can bring a cooler also, or instead. LMK. Do we need an emergency back up grill or not?

Think we'll be good on the grill but if you want to bring a cooler that'd be good. I think two good size coolers should be good.
