god your car sounds like the setup I have been drooling over since I got the EVO...
They are great shocks got them last year when they were a bit cheaper too. Works i noticed raised the price on them

But couldn't be happier right amount of drop...and great valving for the spring rates i requested. Honestly you would need to ride in the car to feel, and IMO it was and improvement from the stock bilsteins. If i wasnt out of town i would have been with you all at Spring Mountain.

This year will be weight saving year...making the car lighter. I even might go with more aggressive spring rates too...but not till i get a few laps on my current setup to dial it in correctly for my style...or lack of style..LOL

Ya Ill be sticking to my swift springs for this year with a possible RCA and rear bump steer bushing kit. (looking into possibly F+R sway bars but who knows...)
Some brake ducts, another power adder, and thats really it for this year untill I go to some well researched coilover options... well all of that + track time, track time, and more track time....

Yes Track time FTW

But yah just replace all the bushings..lol. Its alot of work but worth it in the long haul. Like after 3 Auto X's my rear trailing arm bushing was torn! My thoughts are there is alot of load just on that one bushing....so beefing it up is always a good thing.

Took me about 2 days by myself to do the whole car with my own tools and 12 ton press. You will get better road feel and the suspension will a little more predictable. Complements a good coilover setup IMO

I still daily drive mine too...its why i got the setup i got...makes for a decent weekend warrior. The Urethane Suspension Bushings will make the car stiffer but not make it harsh...and car does not squeak like some preach about Urethane Bushings. I have installed Urethane in other Cars and Trucks before...and actually the Elasticity of the Works brand was far better then the Prothane or Energy Bushings i have installed on other cars.

But like i said before..dont take my word...you just gota feel it for yourself.

Edit: Oh yah folks this a mod you cannot go back to stock easly if you do...well you could..but its a bigger PITA

They don't work well with each other because the alarm will not set until the car is shut off. I have a Viper and a turbo timer and they work pretty well together. The only thing is I have to wait through the timer before I can put my alarm on is all. A minor inconvenience to ensure the safety of my baby against haters and punk thieves.

One thing though, it doesn't matter if someone gets in the car and tries to start it while the timer is counting down, because the second they pull the e-brake the car will shut off.

You got to get in line for those tails though, son. I've been looking for them for like 3 weeks myself. You want to buy some immaculate Evo 7 tails in the meantime though?

IIRC The some of the viper alarms have turbo timers built into them.

http://www.viper.com/Products/Produc...?ProductID=102

maybe need to disable the one on the viper.

I've only seen those things in person a couple of times when I used to hodgie hunt. I just watched a special on that on the military channel and those things are bad ***!

Those look pretty good but I'm weird with stuff like that cuz I know they're fake. Plus I heard god kills a kitten every time you put knock-off stuff on Evo's
