He was actually asking "if anyone would ever want to go the illegals where would one go?" As you have clearly stated, most of us have street raced before. No one responded to his question, and according to you, "most" of us have done it, so them someone knows something and I, being the nice person I am, and thinking of my shoulders, informed him. Nor did I give him exact locations of racing spots, or times. I gave him a website, with information on how to get involved. And if you 20PSIChrisMR don't like it, come on down to charleston and hualapi, and we can talk about it.

As far as my beast, I like your dyno jet numbers, did you tune that yourself or just add numbers to your sig. Yea I'd say what I do drive is a beast, Lets see, I have an intake, and an exhaust, and I made nearly 100/100hp/tq from a base dyno stock and yet i drive it 11.9 Ya so I mean if your disregarding my driving ability, looks like you out mod me, out numbers me (assuming those are real numbers) and your bagging on me ? What did you dyno with those mods and run @ track, super star. You don't even know me. Not only would I probably embarace you on the street, but if you keep running your mouth like you know me, I just might roll down to the thursday meet with some homies and punk your little ***** *** in person. I seen you driving your car around on the 215 connector to airport tunnel, you look like a leprechaun.

You haven't seen Chris, and your only 20 years old, telling a grown man that your going to kick his teeth in is not going to get you anywhere... other than maybe the hospital.
See the main reason why most of us dont like street racing is because we have all probably done it and have suffered in some way from it (whether it be an accident, tickets, jail time, court, suspension, a possible felony preventing careers... so on and so on).
The other reason is yes we just plain hate getting a bad rap from EVERYBODY who doesn't know anything about our cars. My pops thinks its just another 4 banger with a wing and because I own one I participate in street racing. Face it police see the wing and the muffler and are immediately attracted because our genre of auto is used frequently in street racing and they are sick of it.
One of the main reasons why the new Evo was such a drastic change from the loved CT9A was do to the fact that Mitsubishi was sick of people buying the car and illegally street racing it and the image it carried to the brand.
I am not saying your the scum of the earth, Just take into consideration all these little facts that I just rambled off the top of my head.
Besides doing work on the AX course or at a HPDE is 10X more fun and rewarding than dodging other idiots street racing. You should try it sometime.

^ ^ im telling you man, send it back... it should work fine, i had the defi blue racer and the TT and it did the close mode, they are the same gauge just different colors... have u tried to use it without the TT hooked up?
thats bull, no where in our computer does it say that, that person does not have insurance. the only thing that might happen is that the person has a lapse in insurance or they o what u described and then then dmv suspends the registration the problem is that it doesnt tell us why its suspended... so we really do not know. it could be they wrote a bad check... insurance lap...etc etc.... so to say that it flags the plate is sorta true but we cant tell if its for insurance reasons.
Sorry, yes i knew that you all dont get insurance info....but once the DMV gets flagged, the Plates are flagged. So my bad on the way i described it.
No im not very Savy on what the Police Computers are capable of and i know that the info you get is Not always in real time. So there is always that room for error there and Paper copys always that backs up what the computers say.
few of the times i got pulled over the cops told me not to worry about insurance, they told me that the plates would be tagged if i didnt. So i look on the DMV site and it backs up what the officer told me. No insurance, Bad plates. Plus they should know who the plates belong too and if it matches my ID then we are GTG

yea but the problem is that we have no idea if a person has insurance or not unless they have the paper copy. its weird how the system works, the first time a person registers a car it seems like the insurance makes it into the computer but it never updates if the change or cancel insurance. what happens now i believe is that if a person has a 1 week lapse in insurance coverage or longer they will suspend the plates. then what happens if i roll up behind you and run your plates then it will say status suspended, the problem you run into is you have multiple reasons why plates can be suspended.... so we can only say hey these are possible reasons why you your plates are suspended. thats about it.

I had 1 month that I didn't have insurance on the evo (bounced a check, and didn't know for a few weeks- ya i know im a dumbass). Well i got a card in the mail from the DMV saying they need my insurance company to confirm I had coverage that month it lapsed. Well I didn't have coverage that one month, but I still sent my current info so I didn't hear anything else about it.
So 4 months later I get rolled by henderson PD for speeding (big surprise). They said my plates are suspended. They didn't have a reason why. I showed them my paid reg. card, which didn't mean anything to them. They ripped my plate off right there on the side of the road (i do mean "RIP"), and gave me a $1000 ticket for suspended registration.
Hindsight its all my fault I don't blame the cops for taking my plate, but I was mad they ripped it off my JDM bumper.
BTW, I sold the car a few days after this. My lawyer is going to court with my bill of sale for the car. And he said the fine shouldn't be that bad, after he talks it down.

Just to make it clear exactly what happens with this lapse of insurance on ur registration.
I had 1 month that I didn't have insurance on the evo (bounced a check, and didn't know for a few weeks- ya i know im a dumbass). I showed them my paid reg. card, which didn't mean anything to them. They ripped my plate off right there on the side of the road (i do mean "RIP"), and gave me a $1000 ticket for suspended registration.
Hindsight its all my fault I don't blame the cops for taking my plate, but I was mad they ripped it off my JDM bumper.
BTW, I sold the car a few days after this. My lawyer is going to court with my bill of sale for the car. And he said the fine shouldn't be that bad, after he talks it down.
I had 1 month that I didn't have insurance on the evo (bounced a check, and didn't know for a few weeks- ya i know im a dumbass). Well i got a card in the mail from the DMV saying they need my insurance company to confirm I had coverage that month it lapsed. Well I didn't have coverage that one month, but I still sent my current info so I didn't hear anything else about it.
So 4 months later I get rolled by henderson PD for speeding (big surprise). They said my plates are suspended. They didn't have a reason why.
