Most definitely wingmen FTW. Good story. Me and my wingman both blacked out one night. We were **** mates. The next day he comes running over to my room asking, "Dude, how the hell did we get home last night!" I was like, dude I only remember up to 10pm. We both were lights out. This is the crazy part. One of our buddies got us in a cab and sent us back to base. We walked through the gate and back to the dorms. I had taken my contacts out, folded my clothes and changed.

I didn't puke the whole year either. Came close a few times.

Damn, it must've gotten old in kunsan. I had a room to myself, just shared a bathroom. It was funny cause they preached that whole wingman concept and then about the beginning of this year they started saying if someone's wasted they were gonna go after the drunk person and they wingman. I told my friends, if I'm draggin your *** on base and someone stops us and asks who's his wingman, I'm gonna drop you and walk away lol.

That's what I meant by **** mates. We just shared a bathroom, not a bedroom.

Yeah, the AF is moving away from personal accountability to blaming someone else for your mistakes.

Side note: Did you know that they went overkill with this force shaping BS? CE is getting most of it's manning back, besides my shop. We actually got an email out saying that if anyone was a victim of cross shaping, that they could elect to go back to their career fields if they desired to do so. Leadership...

My bad, missed that part about pissmates. Yeah, I completely agree about the cuts. My shop here at Nellis is pretty undermanned, and now all of a sudden we're getting 3 new people within the next 3 months. They definitely went overboard.

Oh interesting weekend i had...

I guess there was a attempt at breaking into my garage this weekend. They broke into my roomates truck, left his wallet, and left the other valuables alone and took off with the garage clicker. Good thing Titans come with a factory alarm Or they just might have pulled it off. The truck had a intrusion alarm on it..so if you opened the door without the key fob then the horn goes ApeSh it. My roomie was still awake at the time and ran out to see some white civic(?) with insane loud exhaust bolting off. Tryed to give chase be he was long gone by the time we ran back to get the keys.

So now there is a Lowlife that thinks he can get into our garage and possibly get to my car....Amateurs...codes are changed..but they are welcome to try.

Well im sure its someone local too..because hardly anyone knows where i live. And my garage is closed 99% of the time. All windows are covered too.

It was silly for them to try while we were home.....and now that they did try security measures has just tripled. Just installed garage door clamps so there is no way they could even force the door open..unless they used a wrecker to tear it off. Also some other tricks too....

I kinda knew it was my car they were after since its the only thing in the garage....i store my Motocross bike elsewhere =)

Need to install some motion sensor 50 cals hanging from the ceiling haha. I hate thieves, my integra was stolen a couple years ago with a $500 clifford alarm that never made a peep in my driveway.

Ive been getting worried about my car too, since we moved to an apartment. I have a garage, but some a$$hat broke the lock the other day and tried to open the door manually. The garage isnt attached and I cant see it from my apartment, so I need to get some kind of alarm or something Im starting to freak out! I have my car plus all my tools and two sets of rims sitting in there. Was thinking about some kind of motion device that would trip an audible alarm I can set when I close the garage. Maybe if an alarm went off they would leave. That and one of those trail camera things that takes a picture anytime it detects motion, so I can hunt them down and shoot them!

[This is not legal advice - you should consult an attorney before making any decisions or taking any action; the following are opinions only]

While I agree with you 100% philosophically, I believe that Texas is the only state in which lethal force may legally be used in defense of property.

If you do happen upon a burglar in your garage and you do shoot him/her, you're probably going to get tried for murder 2 or 3. And even if you're acquitted in the end, you're probably still going to be in jail for a minimum of a year while you await trial and/or in between your court appearances. Ever spend much time in jail with alleged murderers? I'd bet that things would get cozy in the showers and cells rather quickly during that year.

Finally, the cost of successfully defending a lethal force case with a competent criminal attorney is a minimum of $25,000.00 (this assumes a very speedy, cut & dry case). A typical week of jury trial costs about $100,000.00 (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars) when you factor everything in like legal fees, court fees, expert witness fees, etc.

Something to think about.
