Las Vegas Evo's
Oh well, I wasn't being aggressive enough and that was my last event with street tires I am tired of being beat by people on r-coumpounds

So 285 V710s here I come
next time come by and say hi!
BTW your car looked like it did well! I love the AYC slide into the back straight that you had going
I finally got the car sorted out and had alot of fun. I am sorta bummed that I coned my last run that would of been a second faster then the SM leader... had to settle for my second best time which put me behind him by a .10th.

The night event (my first) were a little confusing, but still really fun. That other evo that got the 43.xxx time was amazingly fast

Yeah, thanks to the street (stock) tires for my sliding
Would love some good tires. Although my roomate had RA-1's and about 100 more horsepower than me and I still beat him
I will keep an eye out for you if I go to the next one.
Right on! Yeah there were quite a few evos out there, so I figured someone would be on here also. I just noticed they posted the results this morning, I think I won my class.

he was three seconds faster then my fastest time so I really need to get a move on.
Thanks for the compliments!!! Went to the socalevo.net / mitsubishi super stores (south coast / long beach / victorville / huntington beach Mitsu dealer) Customer Appreciation Day at the El Toro airbase after the primm AX (that made for a long night). Great day had by all! They raffled off 2 '09 ralliarts and probably $10,000 in parts / tires. Totally free event: great barbeque, water, energy drinks, hooters girls struttin' around, stuff for the kiddies, dirt bike stunts (ramp-to-ramp), etc...never seen so many tasty evos (guessing 500?)
Speedventures ran an autocross during the entire day. Come and go as you please. It got super crowded by midday but I got 4 runs in before the crowd and 2 more by days end. Great course (top of 3rd in a few spots!) A rhd R-34 GT-R (dealer owner's car) was out playin in the group. I was on my "cheater slicks" and was able to put down some sick times.
If this event becomes an annual thing (even if there was an entry fee) I will never miss it.
Brandon, it's about time you get some rubber under that car! Can't wait for some raw time battles out there!
