A friend of mine was telling me that a lot of folks have stock ECU tuning by doug and have their stuff up to like 450 hp on e85.. all I want.. That and I need money to buy the clutch.. since that shizzys busted too.
No, it's only a 2L.. not a 2.3 or nothing.. and yea, I wanna see what they have in there.. maybe when we put in the HEAD STUDS!??!

well it really depends on what set up youre looking for.
I'm not saying the stock ecu is bad, I'm saying its backwards in the sense that you'd be selling a perfectly good premium ecu (albiet a bit more intricate to work with) to go to a stock ecu. You'd be attempting to fix what isn't broken essentially. But its your car
If I sell that off, I'd be able to grab the clutch and if I could get a good tune on the stock ecu for e-85, i'd be good! I mean hey, I was planning on getting a tune anyways right?
Speaking of which, you don't have the hook ups to stock tune an ecu do ya? You know I like going through you for all my work.
So my car all of a sudden is going through gas like nobody's business. I filled up today, drove from my house (near Aliante) to Cheyenne/Nellis, then to Sahara/Decatur, then to Flamingo/Valley View and back home. I took surface roads the whole time. I went through 1/4 tank of gas in that trip, which was only like 35 miles. Also, I can smell gas when it is running. I looked and it isn't leaking fuel anywhere. It's been parked for the better part of 2 hours and the concrete underneath is bone dry.
The only thing I did differently is I went to Chevron instead of Rebel to fill up. It's not doing anything differently, no bucking, stumbling, rough idle or hesitation; it's just going through gas like a ****.
Any ideas what I should check first?
