i guess archie went to some place today to do an allignment . cost like 75. though ten more than sears. they did a good job, and his car is really low. im going to check it out mon probably.

also the evo VIII turbo is gone.

i have a slightly damaged evo rear bumper. the part where the exhaust comes out is scratched up someone come get this or it will be thrown out

Very nice. What altitude you guys at down there? What kind of times were being run?

 

So my car all of a sudden is going through gas like nobody's business. I filled up today, drove from my house (near Aliante) to Cheyenne/Nellis, then to Sahara/Decatur, then to Flamingo/Valley View and back home. I took surface roads the whole time. I went through 1/4 tank of gas in that trip, which was only like 35 miles. Also, I can smell gas when it is running. I looked and it isn't leaking fuel anywhere. It's been parked for the better part of 2 hours and the concrete underneath is bone dry.

The only thing I did differently is I went to Chevron instead of Rebel to fill up. It's not doing anything differently, no bucking, stumbling, rough idle or hesitation; it's just going through gas like a ****.

Any ideas what I should check first?

Hmm I wonder if that will fit my flange for my BOV.. ANYWHO.. my car seems to be fine now. My buddy took out the alternator, got it tested, it came back fine. He put it back in.. ran it for 30 minutes.. no problems.... Yep.. a month without my car and we're back to "it's all good"

I'm going to charge my other battery now and go pick her up tomorrow or Monday... Hopefully it really IS ok.

 

good question im not sure altitude lol. there was no record breaking for anyone but it was a good night no one broke not even hondas lol, well at least not when i was there

 

ok for those of you that pay attention in here and knew i was having problems, it turned out to be the intake... was ****ing up the Maf too much and the ecu couldn't fix it. so now we gotta see if we can get the CMD to handle that as well. otherwise i might have to find a different cai that is "stock" sized...

 

don't worry your not alone all the X owner have went to that kind of stress. I have that problem a year ago so don't worry you'll make and goodluck
