Las Vegas Evo's
I really would like to give it a shot but everyone I have talked to says its a horsepower track and that is something I dont have nor will spend the money to get in time for the event.
Plus I am already tired of the rules being change for next year when I have the car the way I want, there is no issues with the class and I WILL not demod my car for no reason.(which I already will have to spend money and time testing again just to think I am competitive)
I would like to organize a platform challenge series similar to Speedventures but I dont have the time and I probably will go to spec miatas next year anyways, since I am beginning to feel like RTA is definitely not one big happy family.
Good stuff Brandon...!
And Thomas can drive the hell out of his suby, thats for sure. I knew it was over once I saw Jon from HP Speed hand Robi his newly flashed Cobb AP. Oh well we both had a great time and drove our cars home afterwards. Thats all that matters to me...
As for suspension I dont think my clubsports are that much of a difference compared to your Variant 3's... and only if I had a little more HP and track exp, I really wanted to gun down Robi so I can talk smack to him...lol but I can never have enough excusses...
See you guys on the track some other time...

Hey guys just poppin in to let you know how I did at RTA.
I ended up 4th after a hard fought battle with my buddy Matt Denison, losing the podium by .150 of a second.
No excuses its my home track, however it would be nice to have another 50 whp and the nicer dampers both robi and matt where running (robi came in first with his 400+ whp station wagon subaru lol)
But something good did come out of this as my really good friend and extremely talented Thomas Smith came in second with his STi.
Overall it was a great time and minus the LICP coming of in my first TA session I had no issues with the car and I am happy to say that many S2000 guys where envious of tail out antics in practice.
I had alot of fun and it was extremely hot... tires would go off after 2 laps, I overheated the car in the last session of practice but all is well.
I was a little bummed that i didnt podium, but I did finish 4th out of 36 in the stock class so not to bad.
anyways here is a few photos...
Ill be out next year at some of the west coast events with slightly more power and optimized setup.
I want to thank everyone that has ever given me a hand with anything in town.

^ you are right there I always have excuses for my horrible driving hahaha.
Robis always telling me there good for half second typically but I think he just wants me to drop some dough lol.
BTW get over to TAF.com and fight for our class rules to stay the same.
this is getting to be BS...

Congrats, B. Glad to see your talent is continuing to build. You are the best driver I personally know, and I'm flattered to even be mentioned in your post. Let's add some go to that handling monster of yours.
hey hey hey
=[ I was at SW, only clean run was 12.7 @ 108/w 1.99 60' with a test of shifting to 5th. I'm having clutch issues, so I miss shifted 3 out of the 4 runs I did. I didnt want to run to much, because every launch was so violent spinning tires and some wheel hop. I tried slipping the clutch just a tad longer and the lowest 60' I got was 1.82 and my best mph was 112 running out of 4th to 8000.
My clutch grabs at about 20% release which is a lot lower then it was before I got there so somethings up.
