A swift kick in the a$$? jk What are the specs on the new Evo X turbo. Is it larger/better than the IX?

spinning by hand? should be okay i think. I read somewhere that when changing transfercase fluid, that u should hand spin the wheels to get the proper amount of fluid in......

Anyways, I finally got my TC and its ****ed up!!! shipping damage. check it out and tell me if in can be hammered back into shape or is it fucccked????

Well my car just got broken into about an hour and a half ago. They didn't take anything, but broke my drivers side window and damaged my HVAC controls and my Alpine head unit. I think I actually got really lucky as my iPod was plugged into my headunit and was just sitting in that little cubby under the cd player. My 200 dollar Arnette sunglasses were in the glasses holder, all my tools and stands were in the trunk, and my snowboard boots were in the trunk too. I always see these threads, but never thought it would happen to me. This also isn't the 1st time its happened in our complex and seeing as how we don't really feel safe here along with the other residents, we are going to be asking for our full deposit back if they don't do something soon or get everyone who feels unsafe here together and talk to a lawyer and see what can be done.

Also can ya'll recommend a shop that has a good selection of quality alarms as I'm getting one now regardless

Damn Tripp, sorry about the Evo being broken into. You should try to find a cheap house with a garage for rent. With the housing downturn, it seems like there are a ton of decent houses for cheap rent.

There's a guy in Carson City that does quality alarm installs from his house for cheap. He installed my 2 way paging alarm on my Evo. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you his contact info.

The 3/1 RFR open track is confirmed and will be happening on at 11:30a. I will most likely make it if I can completely shake this flu by then. Anyone else interested in going? Maybe we can meet up in Reno and head there together?

Thanks everyone. Its going into the shop today to get fixed.

Hee: We are looking at moving out of our apartment anyways and found some good ones in sparks, but we were looking at houses too, but couldn't find any to rent within our price range. If you've got a good place for us to look PM me the info. As far as the alarm goes i'm looking to get that done when I get the rest of my inheritance, so that will be next month I believe. When that comes through i'll def. want the guys info. What kind of alarm do you have BTW?

I've got a python brand alarm that was installed about a year and a half ago. It pages you if any of he sensors go off. The range is pretty good, I think about 1 mile or something. But the installer I'm referring to can do any type of brand you'd like or he can advise you on one. He works at Best Buy Carson doing car installs there.
