Reno Area anybody?
yeah I had to... I didn't feel like it was worth the money to install them and the power gains are not that amazing for the cams I had.. I will get kelfords if I decide to go that route!
The Kelfords just seemed to have come out of no where. I wish I had known about them when I was doing my build.
Well guys after several months of searching, I finally settled on a new toy. I was initially looking for a built Supra MKIV, but they're just too damn expensive and most of the ones I was interested in were located on the east coast. Not to mention, the S4 will be a practical vehicle for me to use this winter since its an AWD sedan which was a big factor over the Supra. Anyways, I'll post some new pics when I get it sometime over the next couple weeks. I'm waiting for it to get fully inspected and for the new wheels (18" flat black OZ ultraleggera) to arrive. It's going to be a fun drive back from SLC

on a typical dynojet, power should be about 380whp 400wtq. on 91 octane and about 470whp 490wtq. running 104. Reve will probably end up buying this car from me eventually since it'd be cheaper than doing the full stage 3 build which he was planning on doing anyway. I can already see myself selling it in a year or so to get a Supra

Wanted to say whats up to all you guys, will be moving up to Reno end of this month for work. Im an avid autocross and trackwhore, and cant wait to hit reno fernley and jump into the time trials with the reno region SCCA, our Vegas region doesnt have anything at all for track.
Do you guys do meets at all? In Vegas we meet every thursday at In N Out so just wondering if theres anything like that going on there. Wont really know anyone when I get to town so meeting evo owners is always a plus hehe. I do alot of tuning down here on evo's, so I know pretty much everyone in Vegas and have fiddled with their car at some point. If you look on the las vegas thread you will see my name in alot of sigs hehe. I have a full on wideband setup, I dont do flashes only custom road tunes. Dont want to step on anyones toes if there is already a tuner in Reno though, I kind of want to get out of it because I just dont know the area and wont know any safe roads to do pulls on quite yet. Im happy with just tuning my car, since it seems to get neglected since I tune everyone else lol.
Also, what do you guys run for winter tires? I have RE-01R's on my advan RS's right now so I know those wont fly. I dont plan to drive my car much, picking up a jeep for my girl, but just in case. I was looking at Blizzak LM25's, is that overkill for Reno? I dont know how much snow you guys get but I dont think its much. I'll be living off 80 and McCarren right next to sparks marina, signed on an apartment already. I have a set of 17x9.5 enkei NT03+M's for track rims I was thinking about squeezing the winter tires on since I dont have my stock BBS's anymore, but I think they are just too wide so not sure what to do. Any opinions?

Should have gotten an Apt from me i'm off of sparks blvd off of 80 Park Vista... there are actually a couple tuners up here but its personal opinion on who to go to...I'm learning myself but it's a fun hobby!!!
Welcome 20psi. You'll actually be living near me. I live maybe 10min away from spark Marina. Unfortunately we don't meet up that often. I personally would like to have at least a monthly meet, but most just don't have the time here.
As far as tires go, last year was my 1st ever driving in snow (moved from GA) and i was fine with Kumho ASX all seasons, but they got slashed, so I'm now on Proxes 4's and only drove with them in the snow once. The LM-25 will be great though and I want to get them as I did do a bit of sliding when stopping and starting in heavy snow. This season also seems like it may be a pretty harsh winter since we already had snow yesterday
. Great if you snowboard/ski though
Let us know when you get in town and we'll go grab a
