Reno Area anybody?
We got a place thats literally ON sparks marina, and Im big into fishing so that was a huge plus for me hehe. Also it has a garage, and no evo owner should ever park outside haha. Just signed a 6 month lease so we can get situated and learn the area, Im going to be looking at houses soon I hate apartments ><
Tuning is a lot of fun, and easily learnable thats what I did. LOTS of good info in the ecuflash forum, and I used to post over there quite a bit but just dont have alot of time now. I run ecu controlled boost with Tephra map switching and the whole nine yards. The only thing I HIGHLY emphasize is never tune without a wideband. I love my Zeitronix and recommend it alot. If you dont know what your AFR's are, your just playing with fire hehe. Widebands are cheap, and they actually make self tuning 10 times easier hehe.

Welcome 20psi. You'll actually be living near me. I live maybe 10min away from spark Marina. Unfortunately we don't meet up that often. I personally would like to have at least a monthly meet, but most just don't have the time here.
As far as tires go, last year was my 1st ever driving in snow (moved from GA) and i was fine with Kumho ASX all seasons, but they got slashed, so I'm now on Proxes 4's and only drove with them in the snow once. The LM-25 will be great though and I want to get them as I did do a bit of sliding when stopping and starting in heavy snow. This season also seems like it may be a pretty harsh winter since we already had snow yesterday
. Great if you snowboard/ski though
Let us know when you get in town and we'll go grab a

, will definitely hit you up. I will be there november 2nd, uhauling everything and towing the evo behind haha.I was looking at the ASX's actually because they are cheap, might just go with those. I have an email in to Neal with Tire rack to see what he thinks the smallest size I can run on my 9.5 inch rims would be, I know the smaller width the better for snow. Me and my girl cant wait for snowboarding, here you have to drive 3 hours to brianhead it sucks hehe. I was checking out scheels and will probably just rent this year since they have some kick *** rental gear, but off season Im going to be buying a board for sure.
Wanted to say whats up to all you guys, will be moving up to Reno end of this month for work. Im an avid autocross and trackwhore, and cant wait to hit reno fernley and jump into the time trials with the reno region SCCA, our Vegas region doesnt have anything at all for track.
Do you guys do meets at all? In Vegas we meet every thursday at In N Out so just wondering if theres anything like that going on there. Wont really know anyone when I get to town so meeting evo owners is always a plus hehe. I do alot of tuning down here on evo's, so I know pretty much everyone in Vegas and have fiddled with their car at some point. If you look on the las vegas thread you will see my name in alot of sigs hehe. I have a full on wideband setup, I dont do flashes only custom road tunes. Dont want to step on anyones toes if there is already a tuner in Reno though, I kind of want to get out of it because I just dont know the area and wont know any safe roads to do pulls on quite yet. Im happy with just tuning my car, since it seems to get neglected since I tune everyone else lol.
Also, what do you guys run for winter tires? I have RE-01R's on my advan RS's right now so I know those wont fly. I dont plan to drive my car much, picking up a jeep for my girl, but just in case. I was looking at Blizzak LM25's, is that overkill for Reno? I dont know how much snow you guys get but I dont think its much. I'll be living off 80 and McCarren right next to sparks marina, signed on an apartment already. I have a set of 17x9.5 enkei NT03+M's for track rims I was thinking about squeezing the winter tires on since I dont have my stock BBS's anymore, but I think they are just too wide so not sure what to do. Any opinions?

k-sports for sale
Anybody want to buy em. Had the rears only on my car for less than 200 miles. I was trying to raise the car up with them. Fronts were on the car long enough to find out they would only go as high as stock only. Come with 6,8 10k springs(one set each). You mount them and I will corner weigh and do your alignment.
ok get up this morning @ 5am for work. Get outside and what do I see? Some sh@t bag smashed my windshield with a rock!!! just mashed the crap out of it..rock almost went through it, so you know whoever did it tried it several times. You would think that I would have woken up with that kind of noise, but no I didn't. You would think my dog would bark, but no (bet it scared her ). (not pointed to anyone) OK if you have a problem with me fine be a man and say something, take a swing if you feel the need, just be ready to take it back. Random punk bag of Sh@t. don't come back and let me catch you, you will not like it. Punk thiefs...damn you are just poor excueses for people and shoud have your nuts pounded with a ballpean hammer.
So I will be insatalling small video cameras around my parking area and back porch.
Damn man that sucks, hope you find out who did it. My integra was stolen and totalled before I got my evo, I was seriously pissed. I hate thieves, but it sounds more like you pissed someone off if they didnt try to take anything and bashed in the front windshield instead of the side or something. Was it someone on here, because thats kind of how it sounded!
NOPE was NOT I repeat NOT pointing the finger at anyone on here, I have no idea who did it. I would like to know but in my neighbor hood I could be as simple as "he has nicer stuff than me/us" and wants to destroy it.
