Yeah well... my buddy's single cam turbo civic has beaten me, also, so I guess you have to give props where props are due. all of my honda buddies are extremely fast (for hondas). my brother's car will be out tonight at fernley, so if any of you want to see how fast he is, he's more then happy to show you >_<

i already know that my car has no chance against his, but you guys can see for yourselves ^_^

 

I wanna race him. I'm going to show him a v-tec wrecker.

 

i wish my 1g DSM was running right now but the GT35R is in and im waiting on a tranny, clutch, and my head to come in. should be able to beat my 12.7 @ 111 w/stock block and a 60 trim.

it'll probably be runnin good next season. in time for some honda killing.

 

isn't a GT35R a little too big for a 1g DSM? i mean that's a pretty good size turbo and all, but wouldn't a 3040 or one with a little smaller turbine housing be better?

I had a blast last night. My ACT performed pretty well on that c**ppy track compared to the stockers. Tu, you should get that for your car, but anyhow, i heard your having problems with your a/f or something?

Ran good last night but stock clutch isn't holding up and when Gruppe-s did the injectors they didn't install the metal clips back in to hold it in place and when I raced that turbo neon. Right when I shifted it poped off and the car threw a missfire code. Luckily I had my scan tool with me to see what it was. Thought I blew something cause it sounded like a WRX comming back to the pits. So after that was about to go. I raced Atlas and beat him pretty good but he missed 2nd or 3rd. and lost to the turbo neon cause of the injector. Same guy that I was racing on the freeway. Very fast neon.

 

I wanted to race that Srt-4 we saw on the freeway but he's always lined up with someone. I Also raced Atlas and beat him, man i hate racing fellow evo owners but he asked for it Also beat some Wrx's and V8's. I only lost to a charger Srt-8 because of a bad launch and missing 2nd, but we were shoulder to shoulder at the finish.

Tu, hope everything is ok on your car, I heard some horror stories about gruppe-s and their laid back people.

 

Just got home from watching Miami Vice at the parklane theatre and there was a good turn out of srt4s, stis, and some evos. Any of you guys there? I would have stopped by, we were in my Yukon and my pregnant wife was ready to get home.

 

Yeah got the car fixed today. Should be perfect now. But only time will tell. Think I'm gonna talk to shiv about getting it tuned even though its going to cost me. Personally I will never go back to Gruppe-s. Way too many problems. Could have been way worst like a blown motor cause it leaned out. All I know is that the current tune from Gruppe-s is using a lot of gas. By the way how fast did you guys get up to on the freeway going there?

 

yeah i was also concerned bout my a/f reading low and going lean so i actually had to go out on the highway to do some observation runs, i figured it was just the mechanical o2 fix from my testpipe thats causing it to read less agressive. Now i have to re-wire em' on my o2 housing sensor or prolly just get a wideband. Anywho, let us know how it turns out after you talk to shiv (price-wise and tuning options) cause i'll also be bringing my car to him to get it tuned when its ready. BTW we were just going the speed limit most of the time .

 

we should all plan a tuning trip to Vishnu sometime soon. I bet if we went down there with 4 or 5 evo's he'd give us some sort of discount.
