i dunno alex... it all depends on when and where it is. i'm kind of planning to go to santa cruz on the 1st of september and then to H.I.N. on the 24th in S.F... so i dunno. it also depends on what I have done. how much is it?

 

lol its really expensive. $1000 for a custom tune on the dyno, but shiv is a damn ninja on the 4g63. I am also considering EIP racing in San Jose since its cheaper. Supposedly it's a really good shop where many of the nor cal evo's go for tuning, and I've heard nothing but great things about their tuner Paul. EIP is $300-$400 cheaper depending on if you want a custom Ecutek or ECUflash tune on the dyno.

 

ill go i just need the Xflash to get the most out of my Xede.

 

I would be down to go to vishnu for a retune but I do have a free tune from Gruppe-s. Just let me know when you guys plan on going.

 

I'm tenatively in depending on when you guys go down and if I haven't already made the trip to Works by then.

 

Right now I'm thinking mid-late september which is about 4-6 weeks away. Were you guys hoping to go sooner rather than later, because I'm not in a big hurry. Let me know what would be a good, general time frame for you guys so I can call Shiv and see what the deal is with his schedule. I know he's moving his dyno right now but I believe he's still tuning cars at Full Function in Union City.

Man this would be perfect...

Hot Import Nights is in S.F. on the 23rd (I believe), so we could totally go down saturday morning, get tuned, and then head over to HIN that night, get a room, then drive back to reno the next day. It sucks 'cause that's a hell of a lot of money to spend to get it tuned, and with my car being just minor bolt-ons by then, I don't know if it would be too worth it, but the trip would be hella fun.

 

edit: well my girlfriend just reminded me that weekend is our 1-year and plus, i'm leaving for the carribean that weekend anyway, so i guess i'm out of the deal >_<
