Wow, that is terrible. So all your other gears are fine except for reverse? If it was TC, then why would only the reverse be an issue? Was there ever any odd sounds from the drivetrain? It's also weird that the IC pipe coming off and the reverse not working happened at the same time, maybe just pure coincidence.

When you talk to Allison, maybe let them know that you frequently post on the Evo forum with locals on a regular basis and you could use this as a either a good or bad publicity for them depending on how they handle your situation. Good luck and hope you have better luck with your Evo in the future.

If it was your TC going out it should make some kind of a whining noise.Did you try to put it in gear then reverse?Sometimes that works.Mitsu might blame it on your clutch install.Hope you get it resolved.

^^ Of course they will try to weasel out of it, but i do have witnesses that installed the new clutch and they saw the damage caused when they opened the tranny......it was pretty bashed up. I have a slight whine only when the car is cold, then it goes away later. Dont know if thats it......but i think to really get this thing fixed, i might have to take allison to court.

So I got back from speed element last night, and let me just say if you guys want a really good custom tune go there and have Andy work his magic.

A+ shop IMO. Friendly, helpful, professional, and great attention to detail!

SE ftw!

I also was just tuned by Andy and agree totally w/ RenoEvo, along w/ their patience for allowing you to get your car setup correctly regardless how long it takes(my car was on the dyno for 6-7 hrs most of which no tuning was being done)

The only downside driving 3 1/2 hrs away to get tuned is if you need to be absolutely positive you have everything installed and working correctly otherwise it will be a long drive home (untuned)

nevermind problem fixed.....Is there anyone here that is really familiar w/ ECUflash and computers in general? I have a problem w/ my laptop reading any ROM files either my saved files or other evo's ecu's.I tried to uninstall/reinstall 2 or 3 times and nothing fixes it.I've been recomended that the html files are corrupted or something but don't know how to fix other than doing the uninstall/reinstall.Let me know if anyone has any ideas
