I used some plastic trim fasteners, (like those ones that hold the trims inside the trunk)... then i siliconed it. Or you can use some color match vinyl stickers and just cut it.

You're talking $500 for a cluch, and $600 at least for the install. So $1300 seems cheep.

very inexpensive, especially if we are talking Aftermarket clutch which means better/more clamping load... usually..

well i think ive launched it est. 10-12 times since ive had it. Its starting to mildly slip at about 31/2 rpms and up. 5th gear grinded from day 1. This is really a digusting problem that if i would have known about, i wouldnt have bought this car.

That's a bummer. I think most "spirited" drivers get only about 10k miles on the stock clutch. If you can commute to the bay area, fiaevo.com was offering a special oem clutch + install for $495 on norcalevo: http://www.norcalevo.net/forum/index...c,16518.0.html

I think the special is over, but I'm sure you can get close to that price still. As far as the 5th gear grind, you should go back to stock as much as possible and hit up the dealer.

Can you send me pics of the wheels/tires? I am in need of tires and can't make up my mind what to get. This sounds like the perfect way out.
