YUP the tuning sessions this weekend for the most part went very well. Some people like myself had a crappy tune fixed (5-9 knock counts in 2 places and +4 deg. to much timing in those places too with crappy afr's. Good to see that getting "tuned" on a dyno by a "pro" didn't blow my engine) Anyway Doug did a great job at fixing some fudged tunes and making more power for all of us, and turbolag4500 didn't crash any cars..
OH yes my map was not the only one from this certain bay area tuner that had a sh**ty map with knock..but unfortunatly his map was locked and could not be fixed..

Last I was at High Rev he had a bunch of EVO Invidia Exhaust parts... o2 housing, test pipe, exhaust, and some intake stuff in stock. He stocks most EVO and STi stuff as far as I know. He also does wheels and tires. His prices are just as good as Tire racks!

Anyone interested in a set of MR BBS wheels? They're in excellent condition with less than 5k miles on the set. PM me if you want to check them out. I also have basically brand new set of Autometer Nexus gauges (similar do the Defi BF Link) w/ control unit and remote. Everything cost $1,400 new. (5 gauges and the control unit)

Thumbs up This weekend is the VC drive Right? All you Tuned up guys going?

Glad to see you guys liked Dougs work. He did my car on his Dyno in January. It was his work that made all my Buschur parts work. I recommend you use him . I watched him tuning a Black Evo the day after he finished my car and that car left the dyno a screaming monster 500+ AWHP.

He drives the cars and he owns two evos. He is careful and he has more turbo experience than most guys because he has been building DSM Gen1 and 2 cars.

I talked to him after the street tuning and he is considering coming back up with all his wideband parts this time to refine the tunes.

You guys should all thank the local guy that made this happen, I do not believe I have ever met him so I say Great Job and keep on doing it right.

There's a vw event w/ a TnT this Sat at Fallon and drag nights on Sun at RFR, so maybe we should reschedule our VC run to another weekend that doesn't have other things going on.

no thanks needed just glad to see some more fast evo's in town. plus, it's just nice having a good tuner up here. he did such good work with my IX i just wanted everyone to experience a good tune. it's cool seeing everyone enjoy their cars and that's what matters.
