When is doug coming back and how much is his tune? I'm curious to see if he could optimize or tweak my tune at all since I was tuned at sea level. Maybe lean it out a little if anything.

 

he's going to try to come up for hot august nights. yeah he can check your a/f's out. the only problems we had were the tuners locking people's ECU's but dougs got an unlocker program for next time he comes up. evo IX's are $175 evo 8's are $150.

 

My ECU isn't locked I'm tuned with ECUflash. I think he'll be able to add timing in the midrange and lean out my tune to 11.2-11.4. The car is very strong but I feel the tune is almost too conservative despite the good dyno numbers, I think she has more in her. What target AFR does Doug shoot for?

 

How about we move the VC run to 6/30? It gives people some time to plan for it and I can't make it on 6/23.

Please let us know what times you guys run @ Fallon. I'm interested to see what times you guys run with the new tune.

Exactly. I'm only at 10.9-11.0. I think leaning it out to 11.3 or so would make a little bit of a difference. I have the extra octane too, so I should be able to run it even leaner than someone with a 91oct. tune.

 

So it's finally finished. ETS came through with a beautiful 4" intercooler. Apex Anodizing in Reno, NV finished it off with the super sleeper look. Fitment was wonderful. Had to remove the bumper bar, and I will have it trimmed later on. Although they are cell phone pics, they speak for themselves. ETS was awesome to work with and everything was delivered as expected. I'd Dyno it, but there are no dynos in the Reno area. I hope the stocker 8 turbo can fill this thing up.
