Reno Area anybody?
just got back from doug dyno. i just put down 254hp/275.1 lb/ft of tq. sucks huh?
except that those pulls were only done @ 14.3 psi of boost. doug couldn't do anything for my boost. he even maxed out the boost tables. he said if he could get it to hold 23 psi or so, i should be around 300/320hp. so i am awaiting my greddy profec and i'll own some ***. i was pretty disappointed until i found out some 06 sti's pulled 210 hp on his dyno. i baselined 241 hp stock. the difference is awesome and i t only cost me $300 with a Buschur flash, and 2 1/2 hrs dyno time.

there is a dyno in roseville at DB tuned. They mainly do subies but I've dynoed there before. The guy Paul over there doesn't know that much about evos though. Does anybody have an extra banjo bolt that goes into the head for the oil feed line.

Lets put it this way, A 4 hour job is now taking 3 days because of a couple of bolts that didn't want to come off and a broken banjo bolt. If anybody is in need of one I still have one brand new in the box.
Thats what i was afraid of.I have been debating whether i should replace mine or not, dont want to go through all that.
Let me know how well that profec works. Right now I'm using a JOE P and I love it. Well besides lifting my hood and adjusting it. It holds boost very well. Where is that dyno shop you went too. I would like to know. THANKS MAN Ryan
I did mine with a friend and it was easy, but he's a pretty savvy mechanic. I'd say its definitely worth it, atleast 10whp and even more when combined with a ported manifold/hotside. It only took us about 1.5-2hrs to do the o2 housing. If you dont remove the radiator just be careful not to bend the fins.
i've had the profec on my old 04 gsr and it worked awesome. it held boost very well, you can control how much boost to pull back in case you spike in cold weather, and 2 boost settings (hi-lo)
that place i went to was doug dyno in henderson. here's his website ddynopower.com
