What buffer does he use? Random orbit polisher?
Waxing and polishing are NOT the same thing. If Euclid still trolls here I'm sure he can divulge more info.

In short, since it'll be the first (to my knowledge) full-on detail to my car. I'll need a polish and a wax. There are plenty of imperfections that need to be polished out.
They legally have to do a visual inspection for a cat as well. Many shops might not if it passes the computer OBDII/sniff test, but most shops do. And that's not a risk I'd take.

I have wondered if an evo would have any issues passing with a gutted 3" HFC (visually it would still look like a cat but flow like a test pipe) and also with an ECU tweek to always pass the OBDII test... seems like a hassle-free way to do it anyway. My car is registered in Heber so I don't have to worry about emmisions, but just throwing that out there for those of you who do..
