hey guys!! do any of you know of a used evo 9 acd transfer case for sale? mine has the famous whine of death and is getting worse by the day. the dealerships are being a bunch of douch bags and won't warranty the car!! my last resort is to go to sheppard racing, but if someone is selling one or know of a good place to get mine fixed locally? any help would be aprriciated

I'll be in line for a second one.... mine's for an ACD equipped 05 EVO VIII, it doesn't have whine, but.... putting it back into the car the guy helping me managed to SNAP THE CORNER OFF IT

can convert one for a couple hundred $

I'd prob just send it off to shep because you'd buy one then have a bunk one laying around

 

you can do it without a tensioner, take it out put in vise way

It sucks to come home The only reason I could think of coming home was to see how far my Evo had come together over the week

 

anyone here repainted their calipers. Mine look like they just came from a leper colony. I bought some duplicolor paint, anyones used it.
I noticed the howto thread on here but wanted somefeed/tips first.

mine need to be done so bad, they aren't even red anymore they are pink. I was looking at repainting mine too. I even bought the paint but haven't done it yet. I was thinking about just getting mine powdered instead.
