Yeah it was fun going up the spine of Idaho from Cache Valley one afternoon, only to be dumped on just outside of Lava from Soda. For June that was one freekin' cold ride through that pass. I've never been so wet in my life. So ... we just jumped into the springs and got a warm wet before heading to I-15 to wind dry off. lol ... Good times ... Its been awhile since I passed by that area.

Easiest way would be to raise the prices of the used Evos/STis that are being sold. A large part of the problem is it is no longer a 30k sports car... It's a 15k hot rice mobile that every ****ing joe, jack and sally can own. You guys are all pretty chill, but there are plenty of Evo owners that don't post on here that are complete idiots (and even ones that post on here from other states that are pretty dumb too). Wes, or any of the other people who have been here for awhile (including some of the mods) will agree that the community has gone quickly downhill with the price of Evos. And it seems to be just about that way with Subarus too, though most of them have all been douchebags from the beginning.

Point is, they are just as likely to be stripping these cars/parts for themselves or for friends as they are to be selling them on ebay/ksl/craigslist. If not more. That's how the Honda scene works.
I agree with you Jake.

It's sad but I agree with this. It was a great feeling when I paid almost 40k for my evo and drove it off the lot right when it came out two years ago. Now adays anyone can drive one as long as they have a job or still live at home. Due to this fact the quality of Evo drivers has definetly been affected and it gives the rest of evo owners a bad reputation. Fact that's a real shame since a lot of us work hard for our evos and are respectful towards other drivers sharing the road. I'm ashamed to say that there are plenty of drivers out there that act like 15 year olds while driving their evos

Hey guys so the car is being worked on and while the tranny is out i am going to replace the clutch and flywheel. what are you guys running as far as clutches in your car and flywheel as well? i am thinking about the exedy stage 1 clutch and act streetlite flywheel. or to save some money maybe just getting my stock flywheel resurfaced. act hdss clutch is also on the list, but i am not sure yet. let me know gentlemen what your opinions are

i loved my HDSS but act is common for having lockout, happens to some not others, i jumped up to act 6puc and i wish i kept my SS. If you have the cash get a twin disc but that depends on what power you wanna make
i got my hdss with flywheel for like 550

I got an ACT HDSS and pro lite flywheel in my car. I love it, but can't really compare it to anything since it's the only one I've used. It feels strong and still easy to use

Don't know what clutch is in my Evo but that thing has held up to about 12k miles with me owning the cars who knows how many before me and I have yet to have to replace it. Most of those miles where with the car making mid 400 hp and some mean launches and its awesome. I will be curious what it is when I do need to replace it down the road. I will more than likely get the same thing

Ya and if we find out you're trying to transfer from the Hondroid seen to the Evo seen and have experience in ripping off misc. Evo parts in under 20min. or less, you can go to the door on your right and you'll be greeted by our local shooting squad.

Otherwise Welcome!
