For the money, (especially when you find them on sale) I'd say they are still probably one of the best AS tires you can buy. Once they harden up on the ice, they are pretty damned useless but they can be had for around 100.00 a tire on the right day. At that price I'd recommend them over most seasonal summer tires that would cost the same. This is simply my uninformed opinion though.
