Anyone know what Jason would charge to port an intake manifold? Since everything else is off my car, thinking I might just do some porting while I wait for parts to arrive :P

Why didn't you like it? From what I remember back when I was fully immersed in the Evo world of modding, there was little to no point of doing a full on intake unless you were doing something crazy as the factory airbox flowed pretty good with a drop in filter and some modifications. I remember Buschur even switching back to it for awhile on their drag car. Just like doing most CF parts don't help since most of the Evo panels are already so lightweight.

Now if you're going crazy, a la Jason Fairclough. Then it's a different story and a 4" intake is going to help a lot more than the airbox.

Good all-season tires. Maybe not the best now, but they're what we ran back in the day on both the S and the Evo.

just curious what is the reasoning behind that? alot of these guys live within miles of eachother why is it a big deal if they ask if someone has tires for sale or they have a set they need to get rid of?

We've got requirements which have to be met in order to post in the classifieds that have been put in place to thwart scammers.

For those wanting to sell locally, we've got regional classifieds.

just a question for clarification... can we suggest that we have a part somebody is looking for publicly in this thread and suggest that somebody PM me about it? There is no stopping somebody from shooting a PM to somebody saying "hey, I have this part for sale..." etc. I just suggested a member PM me about a drop-in filter if they are interested since we are local, so it seems like those conversations are ok to PM each other about, just not ok to post for all to see, is that correct? I actually do have the part I mentioned listed for sale in a thread I started over a year ago but I forgot to mention the link, so my bad there, here it is:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...ping-more.html

I suppose if its not ok to state that publicly I can still PM somebody if I notice I have a part they are looking for, right? Just want to know for in the future- Thanks

On my phone so sorry about the typing. Technically they shouldn't be posting here looking for anything, that belongs in the classifieds.

Can we each create just a personal thread then that says WTS/WTB/WTT: UT_Evo (or other person's name). And update that with stuff we have and post it in here?

Could someone just start a Utah WTB/WTT/WTS thread in the regional classifieds?

When people are looking to sell, buy or trade they could just post there..

Better idea. I second that and cancel my idea.
