Hey guys, sorry to give a short notice because I mainly talked about the event on utahpace.com, but in case some of you don't visit the site, I am hosting a large multi car cruise this Saturday.
We are meeting at sugarhouse park between 11 a.m. and noon. We would like to depart from sugarhouse park by noon where we will head eastbound I-80 into Park City. We are having lunch in Park City then continue into heber city. We will leave heber and head west towards Provo Canyon where we will make a stop at Deer Creek Reserviour. We will chill there for a bit then head into Provo Canyon. We will make a stop at one of the parks just off Provo Canyon. From there some of us will depart. You can go up squaw peak, go to the turbo laboratories dyno event, or head with some of us to the Nitro Event at RMR.
Feel free to PM me with any questions. This is a safe cruise/tour. No speeding or racing will happen. All sorts of makes and models from supras, vipers, RX-7's, Evos, whatever will be there. Again this is this Saturday, June 19th at sugarhouse park at Noon.

I told you to get rid of it last year
Also:
Within a month, I'll have my JDM map sensor and evoscan cable. I've already been tuning my car with the cobb accesstuner race software and modifying my mivec maps. Once I have ecu controlled boost, I'll then tune via data logs and evoscan (or ecuflash... I haven't decided which). It's worth noting that Cobb AP does datalog, their software is locked down and I can't add the extra entries in their libraries or my rom to get it working through their software (for ecu controlled boost with the evo IX).
Bottom line:
I no longer need the accessport. I'm considering selling it, and would rather get rid of it locally if there is any interest at all. I have been very pleased with the results of running the cobb OTS maps with the JDM mivec map. The car didn't seem to pick up anything on the very top end with the mivec map, but its a whole other story on the low end. The car spools more quickly, has a noticeable amount more low end torque, and has far better throttle response (less bog). THIS IS NOT A FS POST. I wont even be ready for a month or so. If there is any interest though, hit me up and we can talk about options, and see if its a good fit for you.
I want to say thanks to gear head for always answering the questions I have. He and criptballer and a few others have really helped point me in the right direction from time to time and I cant thank you enough. I'm not even close to being able to say I know how to tune my car, but after many hours of reading and tinkering, I can say I am finally able to wrap my head around most of the concepts. I'm eager to see what results I can produce once I'm able to look at the data logs. I've already monitored AFR's just by "eyeballing" it to make sure nothing is running dangerously and it's all very safe. I've also identified points in the fuel maps where the car simply runs pig rich. Basically, I'm slowly getting it, and its really rewarding. Much gratitude, gentlemen.

Another nice part is you can get to know all of the undercover cop cars that main street cruise night and if you're really lucky, you can get pulled over by a bike cop. If you want to run that night you'll have to be on a fairly small motard (I'd suggest a KTM250 supermoto), or in pretty good shape on a Bianchi pedal bike.
The last nice part is the band "America" is coming to play. For us musak connoisseur types that band is awesome and expect some medical stuff being smoked.
And ... oh ... I live there so its all just awesome.

I do think my butt dyno is the best tuning element to date. Perhaps I should tatoo a Mustang on it.
