They are also very nice, good deals on there and amazing costumer support. The same people run whiskeymilitia.com and brociety.com. Also, my cousin worked in their warehouse for quite awhile (not sure if he does anymore)
Not sure what to say reading some of the very random posts here, but.
My name is Jesse, just purchased a black 04 evo, should arrive on the transport early next week.
Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Hey, I know we talked about it awhile ago. But with it being the middle of the summer, deals online are crazy so I figure I should take em up now. So for those of you who board... I'm thinking new boots. The short story here is: I have little narrow feet and I'm used to ski boots that hold me in tight. I'm not about to order from somewhere I can't return things to, and I'll probably even try and go try stuff on. But if anyone can recommend a brand (or even a boot) that would be great. I'm also a sucker for the boa system, just because it is easier to get them to the tightness of my old ski boots.
it can get like that in here. congrats on the buy, hope you love your car as much as i do.
hey so me and a few friends are going to wendover on the 11th of july if any of you want to come. i'm trying to rally up people from Utahpace and maybe we can do some drags that weekend in wendover if there are drags that day. if any of you have a players card from rainbow, montego bay, or peppermill i can hook you up with free hotel rooms. PM me for more details if you're interested.
If it is, I could do it for you. I've rebuilt several dsm trannys, and in the process of purchasing an evo service manual from mitsu.
Of course you will always be better off going to shep though.
Where are you located?
Right now I just want to have a reliable trans for the track, I lost 6th gear and 5 th is starting to go as well, I saw on Sheps website they do a conversion of the six speed to a 5 speed, just checking to see if someone local could do the same.
I just had a local put back in a roll pin for a friend's '03 transmission. They screwed up his clutch installation after and blamed him. My friend paid twice to pull the transmission.
Its nice to go local, but don't. I think Shep does so many of these the extra cost in shipping and what he does for oilling goes a lot farther than having a "local" guess on what needs done. These are not Chevy boat anchors, they take a little more finesse.
If I were to go local I think Aamco would probably take the necessary time to figure it out, and then charge you a boatload, more than what Shep would do it for 'with' shipping. I've lightly talked to Aamco, and first they hate to mod, and second they like their "flat rate - we'll figure it out on your dime" mentality.
I'm personally going with Shep.
