Alright guys as some of you know my car got hit a couple of months ago and finally getting painted this week, and should be done Thursday or Friday. But I want your guy's opinion, my car is Tarmac black but I was thinking that I wanted to throw in some red pearl in the clear coat so that I would stand out a lil more than just any other TB Evo around. What do you guys think?

They are re-doing the whole car's clear coat? Did they sand it all off?

If it is going to blend perfectly, I say go for it. Otherwise don't **** around with it.

Ok this is what they are doing. They are re-painting the whole car TB but in the clear coat I asked them to add a lil bit of red pearl. The painter of the body shop said it would look great with the other pearls that already come stock in the paint

I don't know man. I guess it could look good as long as it doesn't have too much red in there. But who knows. You should ask jeff and see what he thinks.

On another note.... I think i finally get my jdm ix bumper tomorrow . Im still waiting to get my C.O.P. setup from spark tech tho. I guess they had an issue with re-stocking some stuff so its taking longer to ship out or some bs like that.

I'm gonna need it tuned so I was boost leak testing my car and found that I have a leak at one of my injectors and another from my throttle body shaft seals. How much of a pain is it to change the shaft seals??

It's not gonna have much red in it at all just enough to notice it in the sun at different angles

I figured it was just the stock BCS not being able to hold the boost, so I called it a day. When I popped my hood in the garage, turns out the boost line feeding the BCS had snapped off! So yah, need a new one of those... just glad it was that line that broke/came off and not the one feeding the wastegate!
wait but isn't the line feeding the actuator connected to the bcs because the bcs is controlling the air it sees? therefore if the line that feeds the bcs popped off then that means you would have spooled till you popped.

I'm partial to burnt orange. One color they never did for the Evo.
I'm also partial to taking it to a fire engine red, but not a candy apple red. The Evos lines are so pronounced that a hard pearl is very soft.
Then again ... eye of the beholder ... eye of the beholder ...
