na. i had my car painted last september when my brother hit me. and a week later i had some some chips in the bumper already and a nice one on the hood, but you dont hear me *****in about it. also my lil girl took a penny to the hood the day after i got it back and left some minor scratches, i guess i better get a lawyer and sue my wife for not watching her even though i had her outside with me. lol.
seems like cry baby lancer XI1 is out to destroy another local thread with all his *****ing and crying again. i have never met a girl that *****es more than he does and thats pretty bad. i guess the rest of us just have some ***** hanging and he still needs to grow a pair

That's a misfire code. I never got it but it's a common code on the Evos. Dont think the egr hose should cause it but I guess it could throw off the mixture that your ECU is expecting?? I know there have been alot of threads on the p0301 code. They may shed some light on the subject. Good luck.

Most people will diable the p0300 test in their ecu with ecuflash. Just have your tuner do that or you can and you should be ok. Here is the thread on how to disable it. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...0300-test.html
Common issues for this code are (these are from a TSB Mitsu put out on the misfire issue):
Poor Crankshaft Position Sensor
Incorrect A/F ratio
Low compression Pressure
Skipping of timing belt teeth
EGR System or EGR valve failure
PCM failure
On the forums, poeple also associate that code with drivetrain noise (aftermarket clutch, etc). If your EGR came off, that was your problem. If you fixed it and still have an issue, I don't know. The consensus seems to be to just disable it and be done with it. Good luck.

JK tho but kinda serious the only bashing on that forum came mainly from a thread that you created about bashing on your self
Lancer really please relax on this who situation. You brought this up on that other forum and people try to help you out with advise and you wanted to go and sue the state and not really listen. How about you take care of this quietly and let us know how it goes if something actually does happen.
well i checked the code last night and it said that it was cylinder 1 misfire but i changed the plugs the night before (does not necessarily mean the plug wire is bad) and it had gone away then i drove home from my moms house and as soon as i had started the car the CEL had came on. went to autozone to check the code and they said misfire, vacuum leak, ensufficient pressure or injector failure.
